    Fitting the amp is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. Took about 4 hours and had to rip out everything.

    Hi, I just installed these mids and tweeters today. Mine seem to crackle a little bit even without an amp on regular settings. Did yours crackle at first too before breaking in?

      Hello! I didn't experience any crackles. If it's just one speaker or the mid+tweeter in the same door, it may be worth double checking all the bullet connections are secure. If both left and right door speakers are crackling that would imply a connection closer to the head unit or the head unit itself. Best of luck.

    Hi I have the basic sound system in my bmw 520d 2015 model, I’m looking to upgrade just the speakers like you have, are the vibe speakers good? Would Harmon kardon second hand ones fit (wiring) and sound better do you think?
    Thanks

      Hello! Have no first hand experience of the HK setup, but can say that from reading forums etc. the consensus is that the Vibe kit is superior, with some owners swapping their HK to Vibe. The HK speakers almost certainly would have the same connectors as the original (base) speakers. Thanks for the comment!

    How did u find the sound after installing the whole vibe kit?

      A significant improvement over stock, even without the vibe amp. Deeper and punchier bass (especially when subs have worn in a bit) and clearer highs. I didn't fit the amp because because it's so tight with the idrive stuff behind the dash, that the only place I could find to mount it was in the glove box, which isn't ideal. Did run the system on the amp for a while to see how it sounds, and didn't find it to be that much better than without.

      @@ConversationWay I’ve already installed the amp into my f20 and noticed the stock speaker have a lot more punch In them, so looking forward to installing the speakers in soon

      @@seanphillips1282 mounted underneath the glove box where you change the cabin filter, just about enough room under there 👍

    How mush did the subs, and mid range driver speakers cost?

    • @ConversationWay
      @ConversationWay  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whole kit was £250, but didn't fit the amp so you can probably get just the subs and mids for 150 to 160 or so. Thanks for the question!

      Where did you buy from? Also will you be doing a video for the amp installation? Looks like a good kit!

      This was from eBay but there's quite a few places that sell the kit now so definitely shop around. Not fitting the amp - it's punchy enough without and the only place I could find to mount the amp was the glove box (very tight behind the dash, esp. with idrive!) and I didn't want to take up space in there. Thanks for the comment!

      @@ConversationWay Thanks for the response! I will be ordering the kit later, I have been looking for a good plug and play kit for a while now and this ticks the boxes. Thanks for the video too
