that is one way to do it. i would always make an effort to keep lights, sound, and video as independent as possible. sure one machine can do it, but crosstalk and other issues will make life harder than it needs to be. very interesting choice using standard tvs for a video wall. i have found that to be harder than it needs to be, and less presentable. video wall panels are worth the investment. still a very fun set up and i love seeing what you come up with in your content.

Having done this before, it’s super exhausting. We went through so many broken TVs, and finally just bit the bullet and bought the LED panels. Looks great tho! Sweet set up!

It helps if you get TVs that have a flush bottom edge so you can butt them together very tight like a true video wall. It's much more convincing when there's no light leaking from the back. A lot of TVs have buttons or lights sticking out from the bottom but if you pop these off it looks much cleaner.
If you can't pop the stuff on the bottom off, at least get some gaff and tape between each one so no light is leaking through. :)

I would never use monitors where I could hide, layer and feather three sets of short-throw projectors for the same ability. The new ones out now have 5k lumens each; layered get you 10k lumens, feathered gets you NO LINES, and I can get it all done from three sources totaling 48:9. This is my wedding, trade show and party setup under bright interior lights.

You guys should make a discord server and learn/help out users that have problems and have your community there
there are a number of discords already out there filled with professionals. some are very helpful while others are less so. try searching for them and see what you can find, i dont want to promote another channels discord here as i think that would be rude. best of luck

The only thing I see as forgotten here is no bezel management, it always drives me nuts when you can clearly see there is no bezel correction on any multi monitor setup.
Fair point. We can work on that.
The huge black bars aren’t that bad cause of the distance you stand, but also the distance you stand it’s almost like only watching the top 1/3 if your TV. Work better visually w/ bottom row. I guess if there’s a DJ booth in front of it, no choice 🤦♂️
