    Hi Piano Man Chuck. Fantastic .Well done again!! You are the first person to demonstrate the Chordana play app properly. Could you show me the app picking the rhythms and Jazzy Organ tones.

    Hi Chuck, Nice video but you skipped over the pedal functions. I am not having much luck figuring out how to assign them to different functions. Is it possible to reassign the functionality of the Casio SP-34 3 pedal unit?

    Would be great, if I could save registrations in the app or give registrations names.

    Thanks for your tutorial. I've been using this keyboard for awhile now and the Chordana app is a necessary accessory. But you didn't answer some questions you raised. At 8:58 you say you can change the balance of the layered or split soudns sounds, but it's not easy. How do you do it from Chordana? Also the Bank function ON the keyboard only, allows you to save setups (registrations) to call up when you need a specific combination of sounds, splits and layers. Thanks for providing a beginning to appreciating the power of this keyboard.

    Chuck, you are a godsend. There still isn't one pro store near me (and we have a couple of BIG names) carrying the px-s3000, and even if they did, they have so much inventory that they wouldn't have the time or a clue to do it justice. As it is, they have the 1000 is mounted up high without a damper pedal, and you are on your own. There's no way they'd demo the Chordana app for me, and I get it. The market has changed and now you've got my business and you fully deserve it.
    It's sad, because these were always the places I would get a hands-on experience along with information (to their benefit and profit) and now that is almost over. You and Amazon are angels and devils at the same time! :-)

    Hi chuck, thanks for the hard work, you dug it deep to review it nicely like this.
    However, I did read everywhere that the bluetooth conection on the PX S3000 is audio only, so I didn't try to use the midi player by another way than pluging my pad into the USB B conector ...
    And also, as I'm not born speaking english i'm not sure you said it. But anyway it won't be stressed enough, that you can download a midi file and then play it and see the notes waterfall on the screen, in no time. This is a huge feature, so handy to learn a new song when you are not experienced enough in reading paper music
    My 2 cents

    If there wasn't the app, i wouldnt have decided for the S1000. Its horrendous navigation through everything, searching for the right keys, with yor manual at handfor everything you might want to change. The app makes your phone basically a super easy way to navigate throug everything, while sparing money for an expensive touch-display built in your piano. I really like the idea.

    So is it correct that you need a wired connection for some functions but others can be used with a Blue Tooth connection?

    • @ferretallica
      @ferretallica 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The bluetooth functionality is solely as an audio player, e.g. to play songs from your phone. You can't do anything else over Bluetooth.

    What cable do I need to connect my phone in order to use the controller?

    • @Ehudhoc
      @Ehudhoc 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      DMCustomShop did you ever get an answer for this? I am trying to figure it out myself.

    • @Dannyvm27
      @Dannyvm27 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ehudhoc so you need the Apple camera connection kit as well as a usb b to usb a cable (printer cable)

    • @Nahkampfschaf
      @Nahkampfschaf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You need a USB B Cable (USB B on the one side, the other side depends on what you want it to connect to,its the same Cable as for Printers). I use a Cable with USB B on piano side, USB A on the other, to fit into my Computer. To connect my Android Phone instead i simply plug an Adapter between the Cable and my Phone. USB A Female and USB C male that would be in my case. Other phones do have enentually Different USB types than C. Whatever fits yours. They're pretty cheap
      USB B: Fits into the piano, Printers...
      USB A: Fits into your PC
      male: the side you plug into something
      female: here goes another Cable in
      Pick whatever fits your needs

      No, but you can control rhythms with an assignable foot switch or damper pedal.

    Hi Chuck! Another great video! Congrats on your channel. I'm trying to uncomplicate my live setup so just a simple stage piano like this would be great. I just would like to know if it is possible to order, rename and save patches to recall them during a live situation from the chordana app. Like for each song to recall the patches quicky. Something like user locations to be easier to change sounds on stage. Song 1 uses 3 sounds / song 2 uses 4 sounds... is this possible with this setup? Thanks!

    • @garycitro1674
      @garycitro1674 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly you can not name or rename even your registrations on this keyboard. It's all "Bank 1, Area 3," etc.

    Is there a Nice Realistic 'Rhodes' sound in there? Love All Ur Great Reviews
    Thx 'PMC'

      @surfinbird4922 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I do not know what is a nice realistic Rhodes sound, as I only eared it on records. All I can say is that the PX S3000 offers several sounds for each main type of electric pianos : Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Clavinet, etc ... so that each time I can find a sound fitting to my needs.

    • @reddon1969

      I am quite happy with the Rhodes sound in the Casio as it comes. I'm not a fan of how this keyboard feels, but it delivers in so many other ways!

      @@PianoManChuck Thank you Chuck for your QUICK response...so if I plug HEADPHONES ( to turn off INTERNAL SPEAKERS ] & SET UP a pair of EXTERNAL SPEAKERS ...would any sound come thru ? I'm looking for the BEST sound possible and internal speakers never deliver. I will buy the " I LOUD MICRO STUDIO SPEAKERS you have recommended. Best regards Chuck !!!!

    Curious about ability to edit sounds. Can you edit synth sounds' like filter, envelope etc?

    • @garycitro1674
      @garycitro1674 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, no. The PX-S3000 has incredible editing capabilities through the panel, but not through the app, which is for many Casio products.

      You don't. However, on my Android tablet the app was on the cloud so from a basement with no internet I wasn't able to get to it, but I could use cellular data on my phone.
