There's nothing wrong with consumerism. We ALL consume. Buying bread is consumption, buying medicine is consumption. It's about *over*-consumption. That being said, I don't know much about these brands personally so I'm not too sure what the impact would be. Some of them might be better than others. Touchland looks pretty wasteful.

I keep all of my empty skincare containers and squeeze products and creams into cleaned containers for trips. You can make your own mini travel kit so easily. Also love saving empty spray bottles I reuse all the skincare plastic containers literally never threw one out. I gave my friend body butter in an old face cream jar she thought it was a brand new product at first. Everything plastic should be reused and recycled.

Whenever I get those small plastic perfume samples and finish them, I always rinse them off and clean them. That way when I travel I reuse them and just spray my perfume in them.

None of these are essential! Specially as you might already have the essential in perfect condition to pack as “essential” means you have it because you use it daily. I see tons of plastic, cheap plastic, and over consumption of truly wasteful poor quality items. The max I’ve gone with spending on Amazon for travel essentials was buying very small airless containers for cream skincare items I own, and hair care ones. I got small airless sprayer containers as well for my liquids. They are plastic as well, but definitely put to use every single time I travel to pack minimally the stuff I ALREADY own. Instead of buying tons of mini versions of products that are expensive, and unnecessary waste when you already have the product at home and can just fill up a smaller container. All of this is to stimulate overconsumption and throw your money away for nothing. Better to save up and buy something of nice quality during the trip and spending with valuable stuff. She’s just getting commission out of Amazon so she needs to be posting this. Such bad influence though.. but it’s her job, I get it…. Just don’t fall for it girls/guys and everyone.

I actually have that razor lol. It’s very useful and I recommend it for traveling. I think I got that fan as a gift for my mom who wanted one to carry in her purse since she gets hot easily. It actually works pretty well too. Can’t speak for the other products

I disagree - They are the only ones I can use and I love them and live how they fit in our tiny woman pockets, lightens up my handbag a notch too. All other lipbalms brands seem to make my lips ich and go red. Hydrate and eat well is the best solution to dry lips but sometimes life gets heavy and have to use lip balm. On the other side of things the rest of these items seem so unnecessary and extravagant and add to more landfill issues.
I mean, box cutters aren't uncommon, a lot of people have them, super handy. I've never seen anyone with a cute mini one like that, but those big orange ones where you push the blade up are super common. Kind of fell in love with the ease of box cutters when working in retail.
I have that exact cutter and keep it on my keychain, it comes in handy! From opening mail, cutting strings, and of course boxes. My husband always carry’s a pocket knife, it’s just my small version of it!

my dentist used to give out those mini chapsticks, they were kind of a pain, because there was no actual twist, you had to push it up with your finger, so to push it down, you had to put your bare finger on the chapstick
