What’s the deal with the makeup bags? We’ve seen so many that were supposed to be great, what happens to all the old ones? A makeup bag graveyard review video is in order.
I have a lot of makeup bags, and I do like having different options for size/shape, so depending on what bigger bags I'm taking them in, how much makeup/skincare I'm taking with me, what else/how much I'm packing in the bigger bag, and how I'm travelling, I probably have an option that'll work and it's not always the same bag. I also do buy some because they're pretty and then use them as pencil cases or use them for organising smaller things in my handbag or in my wardrobe or in my desk drawers or bedside drawers. Also, sometimes we come across different options that we want to try to see if they're more practical than what we already have.
I’d love a kid version of this video! Hacks, tips, gear, etc that you love for your kids when traveling. I loved this video and would like more travel related things like this 😁

I love the Vera Bradley backpacks. They are so light, which makes a huge difference when packing it full of stuff. And the fact they have solid colors makes them even better.
I got that hanging toiletry bag on your recommendation a while ago. My daughter lives in a national park so it's really cool to go visit! But her house is a hundred years old and has a pedestal sink with zero counter space in the bathroom. It is an absolute godsend! It holds everything I could possibly need in there, aside from clean clothes to change into after my shower.
This is perfect Jess! I put my liquids in a quart baggie and then put it in the cute harder sided pouch so that if I need to remove the liquids from the container they are already in a ziploc bag.
I personally love when you "over explain" things, I appreciate your attention to detail and I like hearing your perspective. Just wanted to throw that out there.
I got that same dry shampoo for a trip a few months ago and I love it. I love being able to dab it in exactly where I need it. I don’t even use my spray dry shampoo anymore either! And as a bonus, it adds some texture to my hair which helps a lot with styling.
I have the XL Campus Backpack in black microfiber and that bag is a godsend. It's great for travel and I also use it as a diaper bag for my 2 under 2. The best part is that the bag itself weighs almost nothing and is machine washable!! So nice to toss it in the wash after travel or spills.
Yes, do a kid’s version!! My husband and I are planning a trio to Europe next year and our daughter will be about 15 months, would love to hear about items that help you to keep a one year old entertained for a long flight!
I love watching how people pack and organize! I really dont travel a ton other than weekends away. Maybe flying or on a longer trip once a year or so, but definitely will be keeping some of these bags and things in mind for when i need them!
OMG. That’s my FAVORITE backpack. I have the black one. I use it for work, weekend trips and as my carry-on. It’s the best backpack I’ve ever had. I was so surprised when you pulled that up and I was like “yasssss!” It’s the best.
I too have my favourite collection of travel toiletry bags, but when weight becomes an issue, I just put everything in Ziploc bags and arrange everything in the bathroom at my destination. This cuts down on weight as every pretty little bag adds up. Thanks for the tip🥰
my friend got me a red vera bag for school in 2018 and ohmygod i have been carrying them everywhere around asia. SO GOOD and so comfortable. super sturdy.
I have had TSA make me dump stuff out of a bag very similar because he said it held more than a normal baggie. I had to toss anything I couldn't fit into the baggie I had brought. I was so sad! It was even marked TSA approved :-/. It was always fine before, but I guess all takes is that one cranky agent 😅
I am sorry it happened to you, somehow it feels very humiliating 😢. Also it depends on an airport. We live in a smaller city and our security is super thorough.
I took the air fly for the first time on my last trip. I couldn’t get it to work on the first flight but on our flight home I got it to work and it was great!!! Definitely recommend for long flights.

I bought the hanging toiletry bag you mentioned the very first time you talked about it in a video and it's life changing. We travel a lot (both air and roadtrips) and it's so so nice to have all my toiletries accessible without taking up counter space at our destination. It also definitely helps make all my toiletries more compact in my suitcase. LOVE!
Leaving for Portugal this week and so this was super helpful! Even as someone who travels a lot I love seeing new suggestions and definitely ordered a few of these right away to get them before I go (magnetic phone charger!!!) I already purchased the hanging toiletries bag and the only problem is that it fits SO much stuff that I tend to over pack it and suddenly my suitcase weighs a ton thanks to all my beauty supplies! I got the hanging toilette bag and stocked it with extra of all the travel items I need and I use it as a grab and go. I’ve had a couple trips I decided on super late and I wouldn’t have made my connection or had all my stuff if that bag wasn’t just ready to go.
I bought that powder dry shampoo that you recommended and OMG ITS THE BEST! When I used my Batiste I would have to apply every day in between hair washes. With this one I applied once and I went 4 days until washing my hair and no need to add more of the powder! I’m seriously shocked 🙌

Jessica and Tyler did a ton of research before going to Egypt and I know they will do the same due diligence educating themselves before they speak about this complex matter. They have never been divisive yet they stay genuine. Their level headedness is so commendable. That’s why I love and respect them.

I’ve also used wet bags as a toiletry bag for my daughter when she goes to visit her grandma for the weekend. It’ll be for her bath wash, bath bucket to wash her hair, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair detangler, etc. all the things I’d throw in a gallon size ziploc bag but I don’t want to waste that OR I don’t have a makeup/travel bag/organizer that’s just the right size to hold her larger toiletry items.

My sisters, sisters IL and I have all had a long standing love of Vera Bradley. Most of have 10+ bags/accessories. Amazon truly is the lowest price as long as you dont mind having a smaller selection of prints and colors. BUT, I have gotten both sizes of the campus bag, a small duffle and 3 mini backpacks for gifts for my young nieces all at TJ Maxx for a steal!!
We just stay at The Bradley hotel in Fort Wayne and it is BEAUTIFUL! I didn’t realize it was Vera Bradley until I saw bags in a display case. They even have art work stitched from leftover material. Every detail is gorgeous.

YES PLEASE post a video with kid-specific travel items and tips! We just did our first flight with our 9.5 month old and it went well but it was only a 45 minute flight 😅😂 ALSO I’d love to see how much luggage you had for your fam of 4. For my husband, myself, and our baby, we had 2 suitcases, 2 carry ons, a stroller, car seat, and a pack n play. It was ALOT for just a weekend trip but I didn’t feel comfortable renting a car seat or crib 😭
I don't think your baby stuff sounds excessive at all. That sounds very similar to what my family packs for weekend car trips at least for me, my husband and our baby, maybe minus 1 bag. We have a big trip coming up, first time flying with baby too, and I'm a little nervous how we're going to fit everything in the allotted baggage we have for the trip 😅😂🎉❤ but it will be ok!! Being able to do laundry will help a lot!!

This is the case in a lot of Europe airports! London and Paris are super strict and you have to use their baggie they hand you

My sisters, sisters IL and I have all had a long standing love of Vera Bradley. Most of have 10+ bags/accessories. Amazon truly is the lowest price as long as you dont mind having a smaller selection of prints and colors. BUT, I have gotten both sizes of the campus bag, a small duffle and 3 mini backpacks for gifts for my young nieces all at TJ Maxx for a steal!!

We just stay at The Bradley hotel in Fort Wayne and it is BEAUTIFUL! I didn’t realize it was Vera Bradley until I saw bags in a display case. They even have art work stitched from leftover material. Every detail is gorgeous.
I have those exact Vera Bradley bags(same colors too) on my wishlist! I’m planning on using it as a diaper bag though.

I bought the Vera Bradley XL. They had a pattern on sale for 90.00. my issue with them is moving the manufacturing to overseas. I love the product.

ALSO I’d love to see how much luggage you had for your fam of 4. For my husband, myself, and our baby, we had 2 suitcases, 2 carry ons, a stroller, car seat, and a pack n play. It was ALOT for just a weekend trip but I didn’t feel comfortable renting a car seat or crib 😭
I don't think your baby stuff sounds excessive at all. That sounds very similar to what my family packs for weekend car trips at least for me, my husband and our baby, maybe minus 1 bag. We have a big trip coming up, first time flying with baby too, and I'm a little nervous how we're going to fit everything in the allotted baggage we have for the trip 😅😂🎉❤ but it will be ok!! Being able to do laundry will help a lot!!
