Saying Arya has “been everywhere and seen nobody!” Is a BAR if I ever heard one👌🏾
They dont know yet...but soon
My guy switched to team Danny...he'll be back 😂😂😂
I screamed when he said that! 🤣
that shit had me weak hahahahah
Who are you 😊
I mean bar🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
0:18 “I feel like something big is going to happen”
And at that moment, we all simultaneously grinned the most mischievously knowing smile, didn’t we?
Lmao like that Grinch smiling meme
“Mmmmm your tears are so yummy and sweet.”- Eric Cartman; also probably George RR Martin
This is perfect lollllll
😂cartman would’ve savored those tears
In case nobody said this yet: the musicians play "rains of castamere" which is a lannister song thats made several appearances in the show. Catlin knew the song instantly
And so will they, from this day forward. 😢
And one of the musicians is a real life member of the band “Coldplay” who asked to be in an episode.
that’s why catelyn needs some respect; Robb nor any of the north people noticed that a Lannister song was playing at a Northern wedding but catelyn did and she knew something was wrong. Rains of Castamere is really only played in South, not in the North.
In the books, she also noticed earlier on that the musicians were some 💩. Which we later learn is because they aren't actually musicians.
She also noticed them not playing it really well, because they are soldiers, not musicians. @icy-ee4346
Cersei explains the Rains of Castamere Lannister song in that little story she told margery to threaten her. I didn't catch that the first time I saw it either.
Same man!!!
Facts. Without getting into any spoilers, I wanna expand on this a bit for anyone who’s confused and happens to read this comment. Admittedly, it’s a bit confusing because the song is based on the historical fact but it gets a little tricky because the song poeticizes the official events. For example, the song is titled “The RAINS of Castemere” but the actual house was named House REYNE.
But as Cersei said, it was a vicious slaughter. House Reyne dared to climb the ladder, and “The Rains of Castamere” is a song that warns of what happens when you try to rebelliously pass House Lannister’s spot on that ladder and the song poetically sugarcoats the immediate aftermath which was the destruction of House Reyne after their rebellion against Tywin Lannister. As Cersei mentioned to Margaery, just saying House Reyne is “gone” isn’t quite appropriate to the reality which was, as mentioned earlier, a truly vicious, cruel slaughter. Every man, woman, and child without the castle and to make it worse, Tywin left the bodies of House Reyne hanging up on the city walls for all to see for the length of the entire summer (keep in mind, GoT DOES NOT take place on Earth, seasons in GoT are entirely different to ours and the summer Tywin hung those bodies up was a considerably LONG summer if Cersei is to be trusted). This is how Tywin became basically solidified as one of the imposing and terrifying figures in Westeros. Dare to fuck with Tywin? Then you risk your entire house being put to the sword - root and stem.
“And so he spoke, and so he spoke
That lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall
With no one there to hear
Yes, now the rains weep o'er his hall
And not a soul to hear”
I honestly didn’t notice it and I’ve rewatched GOT twice with other relatives. I only noticed it after watching their reaction to episode 8 that’s when I paid attention to Cersei’s story and was like damn it was a massive hint to the viewers of what will occur. 😂
@logan-pe4rm thanks, and I actually came back to fix the spelling. I also didn't even notice the song itself until like my 3rd watch.
He also trapped House Reyne's women, children, and old people (anyone who wasn't fighting) in the mines underneath their castle. The Reyne host was defeated by that time, and retreating survivors also took refuge in the mines. Then Tywin had the mine entrances blocked and water diverted toward the castle. The mines flooded, and hundreds of people drowned. He also wiped out House Tarbeck. He's a brutal character with some great lines.
When I read this scene in Storm of Swords I threw the book across the room and sat in silence for a solid 30 minutes
Well D&D wanted to adapt the books specifically for that moment. Probably the most shocking and brutal moment in all of literature. Your reaction was 120% warranted.
Shame they never implemented Lady Stoneheart :(
@@SirTomo1 I held out so much hope that would have made an amazing episode cliffhanger
LISTEN, THIS REALLY HAPPENED IN HISTORY....TWICE. IN THE 1400s & THE 1600s . THAT ISXWHERE GEORGE RR MARTIN GOT THE IDEA
@@SirTomo1that’s just silly
This was the one everyone has been waiting for since you started the series 😂
Shit i’m waiting for ALL of Season 4!! Easily the best season
@logan-pe4rm agree definitely a amazing season but this episode is what catapulted our hearts to our asses and made season four sooo good 😆
@@oliviatellez4951your gorgeous where you from??
I'm waiting for one particular moment. "Root and stem" 🤣
@diamcole 🤣🤣🤣 girl ya that's a must see
This episode is a large part of the reason reaction channels exist. A bunch of people who had read the books and knew this was coming set up cameras on their friends and family for this episode, Live upon airing. These reactions posted to youtube represent a major wave in the phenomena of reaction channels. My reaction was to throw the book across the room into a pile of dirty laundry, where it lay for a month. I needed to wash some socks at that point.
You guys did well. Stoic even. Steel yourselves, there are still a few Starks kicking about. And winter is coming...
I saw those videos on Good Morning America the next day. That's what got me interested in GOT and reaction videos.
One of the benefits of reading hard-copy books 😂😂😂
This was actually my introduction to the show. I was on World Star, and they uploaded a compilation of reactions to this scene, but never showed any of the scene itself.
So I went and watched the scene.
Those 8 mins changed my life and I immediately started the series.
100% got made reactions what they r today
I have literally planned my day around this!
Saying hi to all the Frey girls was hilarious. 😂
They are so funny.
First time anyone watching acknowledged those girls 😂
Talisa getting knifed in the belly is still one of the worst things I've seen on TV.
She was a real one 😭😭😭😭
She should have known her place or at least been prepared for the treachery that came. They knew what they were doing was dangerous.
@@John-ir4id I'm glad she's still alive in the books tho 😭😭
@@johns1625how did she live?
@@Billsbyabill716 technically she's not even in the books- Robb marries a different character, but that character is not present at the wedding.
@@John-ir4idShe absolutely couldn’t have. She‘s a foreigner and doesn’t know their ways. Plus she‘s wife to the king. HE should have known. All those people and you resort to putting blame on the pregnant woman with no experience or power. Do better.
Gilly telling Same he was like a wizard for reading probably made him beyond happy because he has said in the 1st season that he always wanted to be a wizard
The unforgettable “Red Wedding” 😢Great Reaction ❤😊
What were they worried about... THEY ALL LOOK HAPPY 👀😂
Right😂
One thing they never did in the show is after this, Cat has her neck cut ALMOST all the way through and they toss her in the river. Due to her breaking at the site of this slaughter and the other trauma of recent events she basically becomes a wraith and roams the Riverlands killing people that wronged her family.
Also, no imagine having to wait a week between episodes. Sunday nights SHUT DOWN across the US when this was airing. Then imagine having to wait a YEAR or MORE between seasons guys. It was brutal.
Its happening now with HOTD
Waiting was brutal
@@izattyu6863 HotD was so disjointed and such a retreading of something I've already seen before but worse I got bored and stopped watching.
I'm pretty sure GRRM intended on having the Starks be the Avengers of Westeros. They all have powers in the books, even the mom comes back. Even Bran I believe was meant to become a horse rider with his custom seat.
Back in the day we had to wait years just to see Star Wars again...uphill...both ways
Cersei -
"You're a musical girl, aren't you? I imagine you have a lovely voice."
Margaery -
"A better dancer, than a singer, I'm afraid."
Cersei -
"Ah, but you know the song, the Rains of Castamere?"
Margaery -
"Of course. They play it so often here at court."
Cersei -
"So you know the story of House Reyne of Castamere?"
Margaery -
"Not as well as you, I'm sure."
Cersei -
"House Reyne was a powerful family. Very wealthy. Second wealthiest in Westeros. Aren't the Tyrells the second wealthiest family in Westeros now? Of course, ambitious climbers don't want to stop on the second highest rung. If only you could take that final step. You'd see further than all the rest. You'd be alone with nothing but blue sky above you. So Lord Reyne built a castle, as grand as Casterly Rock. He gave his wife diamonds, larger than any my mother ever wore. And finally, one day, he rebelled against my father. Do you know where House Reyne is now?"
Margaery-
"Gone?"
I think if you had remembered this conversation, you would have felt the same dread Catelyn did when the musicians started playing.
"Gone? Thats a nice way to put it. How about slaughtered?" The hints were there all along
attention just isn't there.
@@senior_comrade8401 To be fair, it's a lot of information lol. It's easy to miss on the first watch.
@@senior_comrade8401 nah tbf a good majority of ppl didn't pick up on the music. There's a ton of house names and music pieces, it's easy to miss that this was rains of castamere. I didn't notice it either the first watch, I more was worried bc of the door closing and the direwolf locked up
Ah, sweet summer children. All of your subs have been awaiting this episode. The music is 'The Rains of Castermere.' Frey was a man who did not accept insult for any reason--plus he had the backing of the Lannisters. Oaths--especially from a King--are supposed to have meaning. Robb did not honor what his mother negotiated for him.She tried to tell him, but he would not listen. Your reactions are priceless. In the words of Ramsey Bolton, 'If you think this has a happy ending, you have not been paying attention.'

“They got bran and Ricky”
Who else they got
They got arry “arry” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that takes me OUT

Both times they talked about it they forgot to even mention poor Sansa. (I know she’s technically a Lannister after her wedding, but she didn’t even get an honorable mention 😂)
The Hound is the best character in the show man. He's *PEAK* dialogue. *PEAK* character development. *PEAK* acting.
Just a goat among goats.
Oh it’s happening!
Jaime wasn’t lying about the Lannisters sending their regards two episodes ago, huh
Liking the video before I even watch it bc I know its going to be a banger
Same
In Scottish history, there’s a real slaughter that book place when a clan was hosting their victims as guests. When you have invited people to share “bread and salt” at your table, it’s like an oath that even if they are your enemy, they are safe in your home. It wasn’t a wedding, but they had been given shelter for the night in the home where they were murdered in their sleep. Some escaped but froze to death in the snow. Red Wedding!
THIS IS THE REACTION WE ALL WANTED! I CANT WAIT FOR THIS lol
Aside from the trauma of this ep, and take a day or two because we know how hard it is, bear in mind that Jorah's heart straight broke when she asked about Daario.
Sure did…makes me thinks if they had a spoiler? I was expecting pure shock.
I don’t think they’ve quite picked up that Jorah is in love with her. They are a little too pure lol. They seem to think he’s just dedicated to her.
@@CafeconLeche340respectfully, how? That's an incredibly predictable moment. She was instantly attracted to Dario, she put him in charge of the mission after knowing himbless than 48 hours, and she completely brushed off Jorach when he walked back in from the mission. It was painfully clear she was infatuated with him from the moment he entered her room.
@@CafeconLeche340 Respectfully, how was their reaction surprising? Dany ignoring Jorah for Dario wasn't surprising at all. She's been doing it the past two episodes. She's clearly infatuated with him, and she's downplayed/dismissed Jorah before.
@@mclizzard2928 I may have commented under the wrong comment somehow…I was not referring to this.
Yep, this episode is responsible for reaction/creator channels blowing up and I'm so glad! When this first aired it was a big deal. It turned us on our ear! I can honestly say that we were all waiting for y'all's reactions to this episode. Hello men of winter! Lol
It really is sad. Most of the Starks are dead and Jon is a bastard and like you said he has no claim to the throne. There's really not a lot he can do to avenge the red wedding. It's very upsetting what happened but please keep watching the show!
and dont forget that we had to wait a whole year before the next episode!
Finally……. WE. ARE. HERE. This officially brings you in to the GOT family, welcome my brothers lol
That episode was all kinds of fked up. As a mum of two strapping 6ft boys, (my eldest is also called Rob) Caitlin got me right in the feels. First time I watched her pleading for Robs life, I bawled my little eyes out. 😢
It still makes me cry every time. Her scream of agony when she sees Robb murdered is so painful.
Welcome to one of the only episodes of a tv show that got my father to have an emotional reaction ever. Robb was his favorite he refused to watch the show with me for a month after this episode as protest. 😂
We're here Boys and Girls. Now the show really begins...
Catlyn comes back from the dead in the books and is op af.
Lady Stoneheart>>>>>>
Y’all gotta remember Gilly probably can’t read.. that’s why she calls them scribbles.
She looks at them and just sees lines in a certain order, she doesn’t know the letters
It feels like the end of the Starks until you remember that Sansa, Arya, Bran, Rickon and Jon Snow are still out there. And THE NORTH REMEMBERS!
Cersi spoke of rains of castermere in ep 8 when talking to margery basically threatening her.
On this happy occasion allow me to share Catelyns last thoughts from the book
"Finally someone took the knife away from her. The tears burned like vinegar as they ran down her cheeks. Ten fierce ravens were raking her face with sharp talons and tearing off strips of flesh, leaving deep furrows that ran red with blood. She could taste it on her lips.
It hurts so much, she thought. Our children, Ned, all our sweet babes. Rickon, Bran, Arya, Sansa, Robb . . . Robb . . . please, Ned, please, make it stop, make it stop hurting . . . The white tears and the red ones ran together until her face was torn and tattered, the face that Ned had loved. Catelyn Stark raised her hands and watched the blood run down her long fingers, over her wrists, beneath the sleeves of her gown. Slow red worms crawled along her arms and under her clothes. It tickles. That made her laugh until she screamed. ‘‘Mad,’’ someone said, ‘‘she’s lost her wits,’’ and someone else said, ‘‘Make an end,’’ and a hand grabbed her scalp just as she’d done with Jinglebell, and she thought, No, don’t, don’t cut my hair, Ned loves my hair. Then the steel was at her throat, and its bite was red and cold."
Awwwwwwww You guys are Men of Winter ❄️ now WELCOME ❄️ Now enjoy the roller coaster 🎢 aftermath 💙
Man I remember my first time seeing this episode all those years ago, I threw my tv remote across the room lol
The song the musicians played is The Rains of Castemere, it’s basically the Lannister theme song (they were singing it during Blackwater episode). Cat was shocked that they were playing the enemy’s song here in Frey’s hall.
When you two were talking about how everyone was having a good time and what was everyone worrying about, i was like, “Wholly eff! Are you two in for a rude awakening.”
The actor who played Robb had to get on a plane after shooting this scene - his last scene - and said he boarded the plane “crying and smeared with blood” and that nobody seemed to notice.
That music was "Rain of Castamere" . Cersei talked about that in previous episode, it's Lannister song.
It’s here!! What we’ve all been Waiting for 😃🔥
This is the episode we've all been waiting for you to see. And you're right, this is only season 3. There's plenty of rollercoaster left to ride lol. You need to watch the ending again, and listen to what Bolton said to Robb when he did it. It's important information to know.
Oh shit… been waiting for this one just like everyone else lol. Here we go! 😂😭😭
Rains of Castamere is a song about the Lannisters killing everyone in Castamere. When Caitlyn hears that song playing after the door is closed, she knows some Lannister murdery stuff is about to happen.
Remember guys, “The Lannisters send their regards”, the words Roose Bolton spoke before he stabbed Robb Stark in the heart and killed him. Wasn’t just Walder Frey. The Bolton’s and The Frey’s are equally at fault and both houses gotta die!
The episode we've all been waiting for. You are officially indoctrinated👏🏾
Hodor: "Hodor"
Translation: "Hell nah, please!" 🤣
"We still don't know what Ricky could do" Hobbs be killing me sometimes. He really rooting for Rickon to be tapped in 🤣🤣
The story is just NOW about to really start! I feel for you guys - we've all been through the red wedding and never gets easier.
The Reynes of Castamere
"And who are you?" The proud Lord said

But now the rains weep o'er his hall
And not a soul to hear

*Kills her too*
"OH MY GOD NO!"
As soon as they started playing the song it was over.
Been waiting for this and you two did not disappoint. Felt the same first time viewing.
Piggy backing on how the creepy music was "The Rains of Castermere".
It's basically a song about how Tywin Lannister pretty much ended an entire house, the Reynes of Castermere, for rebeling against house Lannister.
Lady Stark was shook cuz she was hearing a well known Lannister victory song, while being at war with the Lannisters.
If there's no other comment that says it, this is THE episode that started reaction channels. People who read the book recorded their friends reactions knowing what was coming, and boom, reaction videos were born.
In the episode before this one Cersei was talking to Margaery about "House Castamere." Her dad slaughtered them all and they made a song about them. The song that gave you a bad feeling was, "The Rains of Castamere."
Alright fellas, welcome to the club. You’re officially one of the gang now. May the Red Wedding haunt you the rest of your days like it does with us!😂
welcome to winter, summer children. we've been waiting.
I love how you mention all the Stark kids multiple times, except Sansa.
Cat’s scream at the end reminded me of Florida Evans when she got that telegram that James died. She throw that bowl in the kitchen and yelled, “DAMN DAMN DAMN”
"Just kill me too"
*Gets killed*
"Oh my god no!"
I have been WAITING for this ep reaction since like season 2 and it was worth it!
And now your watch begins. You are no longer sweet summer children.
"The Lannister's send their regards". That one hit me hard (at the time).
The silence after this episode always gets me. Lol
I’ve been waiting for them to get to this episode.
I been updating TH-cam all day for this one! Congrats to making it to winter!❤

In the books, Cat is resurrected by Baeric, passing his living ability onto her after she had been tossed into the river and floating for 3 days, found by Arya dream warging into Nymeria and finding her. Lady Stoneheart lives up to her name. She is the side of honor without mercy, is an absolute savage to those any and all associated with the Red Wedding. One of several fuck ups they made in book-to-show changes.
Man it really been dope watching you brothas react to this show 🙏🏽 keep it up
Sitting on the edge of my seat with a tear in my eye for you guys!!! Everyone: GoT so edgy killing main characters here & there
Got: here, have a red wedding….
I did forget however the other pivotal scenes in this ep. Bran seeing how powerful he is, Jon escaping & betraying Igrette, & the look of despair on jorahs face as he sees Danny & Darrio starting a new ‘appreciation’ for each other
Love your channel guys....so genuine and funny af to watch you guys react to this show.
"Arya's been everywhere but seen nobody" 😂😂😂😂
I have been waiting for this! It’s all the Starks! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 have , John , Sansa, Ari, Bran , Rikon only one stark child is dead but both parents are dead. It is crazy but it is worth watching. Love your reactions and I cannot wait for the next one !
All I ever wanted is this reaction ! I’m at work right now, imma save it for when I get home.
unfortunately the trauma of this episode is a rite of passage for GoT reactors. in the last episode, we got the story of the song of the rains of castamere when margaery told cersei that they were to be sisters. it's pretty much a song that would be played when the lannisters are taking revenge on a family that they believed wronged them. walder frey, who allied with roose bolton, had two options of families to be on his side, whose parties were on either side of the twins - the starks, who had already broken their promise to him, or the lannisters, who had promised walder frey their protection from the north.
I love seeing peoples reactions to the end of this episode😮. We all felt it.
"The horses always get it first"
😂😂😂😂😂 So sad, but true 😢
Kinda random, but the drummer for Coldplay is one of the musicians in the balcony at the wedding banquet. Apparently he was a big fan and managed to score himself a part as an extra in this episode. Lol
Yeah, I was walking around in shock just reading it in the book a few years before I even seen it in the series. It takes a week to even begin to get over it. 😢
Katlyn knew something was wrong when that song came on cus the song was “the Rains of Castemere”, a famous song about Lannisters and their power. That’s why she knew something was wrong.
Fun fact.. dude playing the drum at the red wedding is the drummer from Coldplay..
I was waiting for you guys to see this episode. LOL
