About Swarovski Foundation Waterschool USA

The National Great Rivers Research and Education Center is excited to deliver the Swarovski Foundation Waterschool USA program to improve water literacy, Mississippi River knowledge and student empowerment outcomes for schools and their local communities. The Waterschool USA aligns with NGSS standards and is centered on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Educators who become Waterschool partners will receive teacher training, field trip and micro-project funds, and the opportunity to set up on-ground environmental action projects. The program encourages schools to host peer-teaching water education events, share success stories with students around the globe, and allows access to the Swarovski Waterschool Global Curriculum to enhance classroom learning.
