I have the Stanley Fry pan and use it daily at home on out Induction Cook top. Warm it up to 210 F, add a bit of oil and you have a non stick pan that is easy to clean up with the whip of a paper towel. On the trail life is equally simple, and all the added accessories make it a true kit. Thank you for a good review.
Thank you for watching my video and commenting! I really appreciate it! Hands down you really can’t beat the quality and the price. I also use mine quite often. I will be doing a review on the Stanley boil and brew French press soon. Also get in on the giveaway! PA
Hey Echo! How are you bud? Haven’t really been able to join any live streams because I work midnights. Anyway thank you for checking out my video and commenting! Really appreciate the support. I thought that if I introduced hunting, camping, and bushcraft gear to my channel, it would help it grow. So far so good. Thanks again brother! PA
@@sojourn1544 thank you so much for watching my video and commenting. Yeas Stanley makes some really ingenious camping cooksets.. thanks for the sub!! PA
Thank you for checking out my video and commenting! Yes I like all of the Stanley adventure cook sets. I reached out to Stanley to see if they would send me there 1.1quart pot with two bowls and two sporks but they said no. I guess I don’t have enough subscribers yet. Anyway I hope that my video was helpful. PA
I used to carry a similar kit way back in the day, though much more cheaply made. I'm talking 1 ply aluminum cheap, lol. The pack stove was much bigger too, those were the days when you needed a strong back to carry lightweight gear. That is some nice gear PA.
Thank you so much for checking out my video and commenting! Really appreciate you supporting my channel. Yeah Stanley gear isn’t bad and it’s really not that heavy. If your backpacking You might want to go with titanium but there is a huge cost difference plus the titanium cookware dents very easy. I guess it all depends on what works for you. Take care and stay safe! PA
The only good way to hassle free stainless steel frying is to do what you did and season it before cooking. SS will need this done periodically. Good video.
If you or anyone looking for a lid for that pan. Amazon has one that fits like a glove! Fits perfectly!! It’s the winco 2 1/2 quart sauce pan lid. 13 dollars. Well spent if looking for a great fitting lid. Like it was made for that pan!! lol. Hope this helps someone in need of a lid.
Thank you! Yeah I really like the Stanley adventure cook set and fry pan. You should be able to make those work for you. Thank you for commenting and watching my video! PA
I wish I had bought the Prep N Cook set when they were available. I missed that one. I have all the other ones they make. I've been a collector of STANLEY Cook sets and Drinkware for decades. Nothing better, IMHO. Recently we evacuated from Hurricane Ian and my STANLEY gear was my instant ready-made kitchen for cooking. BTW, don't cook with the skillet lid! It'sa cover for the kit basically and not a cutting board either. The hard discs are for cutting boards. Nice review and nice that your channel is growing nicely 👍.
Thank you for reaching out to me. I’m sorry to hear about your evacuation, but am glad that you had your cookware to get you through. Take care and stay safe! PA
@@pareloader5989 Your response is so sweet. Thank you. We are ding fine. Ourselves, our Pets, Property, Vehicles, our Motorcoach all weathered the storm fine. Hi, greatly appreciate your video. I'm searching the good size pan for moto camping. May I ask for the diameter of the pan (the top open and the 3-ply bottom), also the depth and its weight? Thanks again :)
Yes your right! Noticed that as I was making the video. Sometimes I use other items from different Stanley cook sets depending upon where I I might be camping. Thank you so much for watching my video and commenting! I really appreciate it! PA
I bought it but I notice when putting it away that the lid does not clamp properly on the pan. So this one falls off. I bought a second copy and this one also has the lid falling off. Has anyone had the same problem?
I know what your talking about mine did the same thing. The trick is to roll the lid around the edge of the pan. It takes a little work but will fit like a glove and get easier from then on. Just use your hands and a little force. It will fit. Mine is fine now. Hope this helps. PA
By far my favorite cooking sets. Just cannot beat them. Well done
Thank you! Yeah I love getting outside and building a fire and have a nice breakfast or just a cup of coffee! Can’t beat it. PA
