That is truly the best add I have ever seen I have such a love of vw and remember at the age of 17 getting the keys to my first mark one golf and now many years later I still drive a vw and always will just love how they summed up the generation timeline it makes me cry every time I watch the add make me think of life and humility its all summed up life has good and bad that is what makes life. TRULY MAGICAL........

Huh? This is more about the emotional connection between a product and it’s customer than engineering.

I remember when I was around 3 years old my next door neighbor had a beetle. I absolutely loved waking up early enough to watch that car start and leave. I remember obsessing over the herbie movies. I remember this advert and loving it because of the beetle. Many years later I'm extremely happy driving my beetle. Wouldn't trade it for anything else

Fkn oth m8, vw might have had the emotions scandal, the company might not even make the beetle anymore, it's tragic 4 sure & extremely sad but long as the meaning behind this ad is somewhere still in the minds of the ppl at vw & I very much hope it is, the company should still be in good shape but this ad is the best & truely campures the meaning of owing a beetle in particular

When I was 21 my dad handed me his vw jetta mk 2, that was back in '94.
It's been 7 years since dad passed on but my love for vw will never die. Every time I own a new vw I think of dad and not forgetting my wife who shares my passion.
When people understand your passion that's love

myself and my sister used to like it, we watched TV together she enjoyed murder she wrote and Dr Quinn Medicine women. We lived a humble life those day it was simple life no stress even if we had not much. I was in std 1 and she was in std 4 in 1995. present day, I never expected my sister to die. I miss my sister watching this right now.

Ah the ads of VW never cease to amaze me and of realism. Even the emissions scandal, doesnt have to down vw entirely bec they still have remnants of true icon cars in driving. Unlike those turd Nissans with bad products planning and overall quality, VW is better. Welcome to comments of reality daily.

The song was originally composed by Victor Schertzinger, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, in 1941 and first recorded by Dorothy Lamour for the film, The Fleet's In (1942). Ifield's success with this song was quickly followed by further number one singles 'Lovesick Blues' (1962) and 'Wayward Wind' (1963).
