can you tell us how you got this working? i can't seem to get the ds-kb81120-im working with the hik connect app, it's like the platform isn't connecting to the phone? i.e. the firmware isn't made for hikconnect
Is it possible to DISABLE that annoying waiting tone??? @0:45 I live in a small street and my neighbours will not appreciate such sound and will complain for sure. Instead the doorbell light can be blinking on/off is ok but the sound of the ringtone outside should be disabled. Is that possible?????

Can be a very troublesome camera to mount and cumbersome to work with. Heavy but NOT vandal proof and good luck with your hands mounting this in cold weather.
Nothing is vandal "proof" but this unit stronger than any other unit i have seen. The heavy stainless steel mounting plate, combined with the die cast housing is very strong, and the set screw would be very difficult to remove without the HIK tool. But a 5 kg sledgehammer would defeat any system!
