    I been playing around with getting tent staked closer to ground as the draft (even with line locks) underneath is excessive if you ask me. The twist of stake out point onto stake is so simple and a game changer, I have a cinnamon but glad I watched video as now I can put tent solid on ground on those real windy days where condensation isn’t much a issue and not worry about it falling apart.

    Great video! Bought my first Seek Outside last fall, very versatile, but found it to be a little trickier setup coming from a standard tent. Nice to have a walk though of the options!

    Great video and yes very helpful. I am trying to decide between the 6 Person TP and the Redcliff and then thought I showed go with the 8 Person TP...I think this video helped solidify the versatility of the TP in general and the fact I can shrink the 8 Person TP down to a 6 Person TP if needed or desired. I really like the Redcliff for how it utilizes the floor area but feel the shape of the TP might be more forgiving when it comes to finding suitable tent pad area either in the brush or in a formal camp ground setting.

      I was in the exact same spot a year ago. Trying to decide which to buy. I eventually bought the 8 man and so glad I did. It's a lot of tent for one man but anything thing above that you'd be glad to have the space. The option for the flexi pitch down to the 6 really sold me on the bigger tent. Have not had the chance to pitch it that way they though. No matter which one you go with though I'm sure you won't be disappointed. They are a fantastic product.

      The 8 Person is a fantastic tent and a favorite among Seek Outside employees.

    Best video I have ever seen with lots of tips and tricks for setting up a tipi. When you do the snow pitch do you stake straight down or pitched out from tent?

    • @seekoutsidegear
      @seekoutsidegear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      First, you use the guyouts as your initial stakes and they get staked pitched out from the tent. Second, the excess fabric now gets pitched straight down to create that vertical sidewall for snow to slide off of.

    Do you use the length or width dimension to set the door stakes ?

    What is the radius for pitching the Cimarron pyramid tent?

    • @seekoutsidegear
      @seekoutsidegear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cimarron pitches as a rectangle and does not use a radius

      @@seekoutsidegear So it can't be pitched using the width at the zippers?

    Why didn’t you keep this guy selling your product? I’ve got a 4 person & 12 person tipi, medium & big mamma stove for each. Really like the how to set it up for different conditions, (so I don’t have to think as much , ((plan in mind)), for a late night pitch!). There is a disconnect between you and your consumers. You make a great product, please represent it. for all!
