This thing is kinda nuts when you realize madness still builds even if your target rolls the attack. Legitimately they can dodge every hit and it will still proc madness.
@@goon009 No they did. You could roll through bleed procs and it would do no damage because at the time of the proc, you were invincible. Madness takes you out of your dodge roll and does damage. This weapon should 100% be nerfed/fixed.

I really like that in this game a lot of ashes of war and spells have an “AOE” type effect to them. It makes pvp builds a lot more diverse since you’re going against multiple people 90% of the time. I just wish they had a covenant system to reward invaders and blues alike.
Honestly this is great, madness is a great counter for the gank squads despite it being "broken" Though there are a LOT of other stuff that is waaaaaaaaaay more broken.
On one hand, I'd say that if ganksquads can do this too, then it doesn't help. On the other, I guess that by turning this into call of duty maybe you have a better chance of dealing with gank squads. Silly me that I wanted to play a strength build I guess :P
No there isn’t! you can hit people who perfectly roll for christs sake! Ive used most of the weapons and spells in this game, nothing but dual seppuku naginatas even comes close. Its the worst weapon fromsoft has ever made with the exception of invisible firestorm in demons souls.
@@thebigenchilada678 luckily the frenzy flame is absolutely godlike in PvE. Don't really need much else as far as offensive spells go. High damage, massive stagger, relatively fast, good aoe, very low FP cost.

@@Kyle-hv8ed I know about the exploit and refuse to use that bugged incantation whatsoever on principle. You can still use the shotel and it's ashes of war to build up the effect the old fashioned way.
From what I’ve heard, the eclipse shotel isn’t that great. Even though applying death blight sounds powerful, it builds up so slowly that chances are that your opponent will just die from taking damage rather than the debuff.
Definitely my favorite weapon in the game. I absolutely love the concept of the madness debuff. Sucks that I’ll be seen as meta chasing scum for using it. I wish there were other, more balanced madness weapons.
It's bugged. Simply disengaging to let the frenzy lower WOULD counter it, but their poor netcode causes it to build Frenzy through Iframes, which makes that basically not possible.

@@gale1841 they always worked in the wrong way as status effects arent supposed to build up It u roll em, but with build, poison n frostibite atleast u can roll the proc to counter it. U cant counter the proc of this status effect which makes it totally broken. It kills u if ure doin the right thing.
What i really love from these videos is oroboro hunting the cowards and killing the summons before the host. i can't imagine their despair running from him hahahah
Sprinting poke attacks are so strong in this game. I’ve been running the giant Katana and bloodhounds step and it’s actually kind of broken how strong it is

I love this weapon! Since I found it I quickly saw myself in Bloodborne with the bloodletter build so I HAD to try this spear in pvp and MAN its nasty and its even nastier paired with an other spear on your off-hand for crazy dual-wield dmg! Its so powerful
I'm amazed by how many non moonveil's you ran into. I only did 15 or so invasions but at least 80% of people I found were using that and blasted me for 700 damage if they ever hit me. Also lots of the lightning auto target spell from multiple people.

i love how every time Oro used a weapon at the start of the games release every casual started bandwagoning onto that weapon in pvp without actually understanding that YOUR skill is what made the weapon so good. This weapon plus the frenzy seal is just so much fun to use. Plus there is an incant that allows you to follow up on the frenzy proc by giving them frenzy again.

For some reason I can only find gonk squads when invading. I am a higher level during the beginning of the games life so that may be why but what’s your SL? I feel like if I made a new character for PvP and start them or for low level invasions I’ll have better luck
The amount of high damage insane op shit is this game is staggering. The damage numbers reach so high. No guaranteed combos but you still found a way to get guaranteed hits with the madness proc you crazy bastard
Y'all sleeping on the 10 plus Ring Finger. The AOE of it's skill isn't the greatest, but finger blasting people to death is too much fun. It can one shot as well as has hyper armor.
Absolutely love this thing, one of the best weapons for sure. But if you want another video idea there’s a spell that lets you light yourself on fire, combo that with the tree sentinel Greatshield. And machine gun holy soul spear things.
The screams are absolutely horrifying, especially when madness triggers. But, the realistic screams are amazing!

There is always Flame of Frenzy spell... it's harder to get off of course but damn, so good when you do
