I can't be the only one who thinks Connor has the most badass look in the entire franchise. The outfit looks perfect.

He also looks much more muscular than the other assassins and it shows in his combat. When he assassinates someone he lifts them up and throws them to the ground. When he is fighting he is brutal and rough. It all works with his backstory.

I wish new assassin be like parkour from Unity + fight from 3 and storyline from 2, Brotherhood etc.

So that makes it challenging to hack and slash the enemies for a hundred times? Forget the fact that you need thousands of blows to kill the enemies three or four levels higher than you.....yay so much fun

I loved this game on release and always will. Misunderstood masterpiece. I just recall being in a small town during a storm at night perched in a tree, unseen, watching things go on. The atmosphere was perfection.

this is the last AC series that has a smooth and believeable parkour animation and satisfying killing animation.
Honestly this combat system is my favorite in the whole system some people might complain about it being to easy but it was still way better then the shit RPG style we got now. There was something so satisfying about mowing down through enemies. I still till this day just hop on AC3 and just go into the cities and kill guards just because how great the kill animations were.

Ok ur lying, there is literally no difference other than some performance fixes (that can eazily be fixed with mods) and some lightning improvement.
Both of these improvements are USELESS considering the fact that Vanilla Skyrim has more mod support which means Special Edition is worthless cuz you can just mod fixes and download graphic and lighting mods.

The combat was so awesome. Press 'E' and instantly block any guy. Or use someone as a sheath to avoid bullets. You could kill 100 guys at a time if you know every enemy's weakness.
I personally loved climbing trees with the black flag and ac 3 parkour system

Genre because they are just so story driven especially when your character performs finishing moves in a very cinematic way
well Origin done well with it story and really fitting as an AC game too, it just Odyssey just go on the extreme mode and messed everything up.
This type of combat is what we need in Valhalla!!! Also hope they use the trees again for parkour

There really needs to be an option to disable counter slowdown and an option to disable the camera zoom on finishers

For me the last good game of Assassin's Creed was Syndicate, Odyssey, Origins and Valhalla doesn't deserve AC they look like other game that just using the name Assassin's Creed. After Syndicate Ubisoft is really disappointing for what they've done with Assassins Creed. Lastly Valhalla is just upgraded version of Odyssey and Origins did you notice that mate?

Because its just a love story not a revenge story or sad story sort of it but still dude unity have best combat and great outfits also best weapons that really really love was katana but it is the most strongest because when you end the game there is a legend sword and its way powerful than those heavy swords or normal sword or guns.

What I love about the combat is whenever there’s a ledge or a stairway, Connor can actually “Sparta” kick enemies down and it’s pretty awesome. 😂😂😂

I love this game man I personally perfer it then all ezio games and I know ima get shit but hear me out this is my experience this was the game that introduced me to assassin , I love the setting American Revolution is so well known and I know almost every thing about it I love what Conner fought for the people he new his goals and would do anything to protect his people and there freedom especially in the American Revolution which meant there freedom there independence from Britain and Conner fighting from the shadows one of the reasons they one because he was there being a part of something significant and the fighting system is my favorite look I love brother hood definitely out of all ezio games but the base for it didn’t make me feel like were special or something in history but loved ezio as a character way more then Conner but I also love Conner and the fighting mechanic was alr but I just perfer ac3

I started playing AC when it first came out on PS3. I loved the first game, and beyond the second, it bored me a lot. Last month I decided to give a chance to Odyssey, I discovered how much AC changed and I'm having a huge blast with it. I don't say that the old games are bad, but I think the RPG change has been a life saver for this saga.

JBLegend 52 no it doesn’t it been pretty consistent with getting better! You guys are just upset because they changed it to where it’s not as easy to kill people by just pressing a couple of buttons. Instead you actually need skill to be able to survive.
The-phantom788 how does it suck? Good story line that ties in with the rest, bigger maps, more gameplay experiences and it actually has a challenge to it when it comes to survival. Instead of pressing 2 buttons and being able to kill 100 people you actually need to strategize and be more of an assassin when your trying to sneak into places. It’s a lot better then the previous ones.
I'm working on playing the earlier AC games and was originally going to skip AC3 because I completed it on the 360 but this makes me want to play it again. The bow and Connor's hidden blade were two of my favorite weapons in the series. All time favorite was the blowgun from AC4 though hands down.

You know, crappy cutscene graphics aside, the environment of the remaster looks amazing, and I definitely want to play it. My head might try to leap off of my neck from the amount of stress I may have with the cutscene graphics, but this was early 2012, I don't think we can judge too harshly.

@@Mustafa_9628 rockstar and ubisoft are two different devs. Rockstar put more time into both red dead games than Ubisoft did AC3. For the year AC3 came out it was pretty impressive. It also had had boat missions and impressive graphics for its time, if we're going to compare the two games. That's also your opinion that red dead 1 had better hunting. At the end of the day we're comparing apples and oranges because, as I said, they're two different devs and different style games.
Idk why i like the old fighting mech like this than in oddysey, it feels like being an ASSASSIN with that cool parry animation rather than spamming hit button with a skill. To be honest i like oddysey but not as Assassin Creed Franchise,

Ubisoft keeps saying with every new release that they've basically improved everything from the previous game to the next. But that's not true. Where is my double assassination? Where's the hook to climb faster from AC2? Where's the rope, the counter and insta-kills combos for 2 or 3 opponents?! Why do I have to carry around up to 350 pieces of equipment in my ''inventory''? Filling up a system with useless shit up to the roof doesn't make a feature count for something. And what about the present-time story line.... that all went up in flames the second they killed Desmond Miles. After that, nothing made sense anymore and no character really had weight about anything no longer... Remember in the first game when you'd get outside the Animus and, as Desmond, you could use your eagle sense to see all sorts of crazy and disturbing shit and symbols on the walls and stuff? That was cool! There was intrigue, I was just so curious about it all and what it meant... That was a decade ago. Now, they just pop a game every year / 2 years without barely keeping half of what's good to make the next entry.... so disappointing. It's now filled with micro-transactions and helix points and shit that we don't care about AND already paid for upfront when we buy the full game. 80$(CAD) (full price of a game now) gets you half the content... HOW CAN A SINGLE PLAYER GAME NOW HAVE A BATTLE PASS / SEASON PASS?! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT UBISOFT?! WTF??
And why can't I pull up/down my fucking hoodie without OPENING THE FUCKING LIMITLESS INVENTORY PAGE?!?! Why can't I just press a discreet button and become anonymous without interrupting my gameplay??? =( Man it makes me so sad to see all the good features they lost over the years.....
