Great video, JT. Didn't know about the bleeder valve when changed radiator fluid on wife's 2015 Jeep Grand with pentastar. 4 hot/cool cycles/days later, all air was gone.

    Good job.
I have the same issues and I was looking something else.
I'm glad I saw your video.
    Thank you.

I love the pentastar info. As a 3.2 owner its helping me learn the platform. Hitting 50k in the next week or two and wanting to do a coolant flush, plugs, updated oil filter adapter housing, and a brake flush.

I remember on the more pars at the other shop we used to send people to the dealership. I remember the fuel caps were throw a code. And they buy an aftermarket one at AutoZone or something. We would say I got to go to Mopar!

How did you create that funnel system , dealing with this issue now . Thermostat replaced last spring never had an issue . Check engine light still not on. Dodge dealer said it needs to be burped . I’m guessing this is exactly what they mean. 2014 300

Just had my radiator replaced on my 2018 Durango SXT at the dealership on Wednesday so far so good. However I still have a fluctuating voltage gauge and voltage drop on accelerating and with all accessories on. Coasting the voltage is steady at 14.5 v as all my other dodge products are. However the dealership says it’s normal. New battery installed in February due to no crank no start 51,000 on the clock

I have questions what's operating temperature for the 3.6 engine before fans to kick on.

Any idea why go up? I drive in the temps go up slowly. No leaks no blown head gasket everything works as supposed to. Butttttt my thermostat is from AutoZone. I’m going to buy a mopar One tomorrow and go from there.

I have a Chrysler 300 question is my fan ain’t coming on at normal temperatures only when I crank up the AC? Isn’t the fan suppose to turn on after 200degres?
What are normal operating temperatures for the 300

When you commented on bleeding the coolant system with the heater controls on full heat fan on, that as far back as I can remember has been a requirement (prior to the horse and buggy that is, horses will usually kick the HELL out of you if you tried that on them).

Is it normal to run 210-217f on this engine? I got one in my shop that the new T-stat opens 217f runs down to 206F. We replaced the rad, waterpump which cavitated the gasket and replaced the cap 18lbs. We bleed it right but still is running hot. We did a pressure test no leaks, no bad head gasket, but to me it runs too hot and once the fan kicks on at 210f it never shuts off. I know the radiator is working because the cold side is cold to me means we are not moving enough coolant through the system. I'm wondering if someone tuned the PCM and this engine timing is causing the engine to run hotter then it should.

I just got a 2016 charger, it’s been tuned but it’s running hot. I wonder if that the issue. No leaks, fan comes on, it runs hot in 15mins. What do u think?

OH YEAH, a whole gallon it was suppose to overheat 2/3 up the gauge. Got a 2.7L leakin like mad lower left engine. Runnin cool as a cucumber on my Concorde. Where could it be ?? I will fix it if I can find it and I have looked. On average Chrysler should runabout 1/8 below half way mark. Where is the engine block drain ???

I crack the bleeder open a few times when I think I'm near full, with it running. Yes it makes a mess, but hot water rinses it away. If I have consistent hot heat, she's full or close to it
