I have been waiting for this library for years (since 2017 and the first Synchron libraries). Thank you!! It sounds amazing! But please, please, please, don't wait another four years to release Synchron Woodwinds ;-)
Sounds absolutely FANTASTIC! Just ordered it. I'm finding the preset mixes in VSL's string libraries to be incredibly useful and fast to access, and I have no doubt that I'll enjoy that same flexibility in this library. Really looking forward to the timbre adjust capabilities. The upgrade price was very reasonable. A real value for a product that has so much depth.
Hola! Para comenzare mi colección de bronces de VSL, debería empezar con ésta? (Synchron Brass Complete) o debería considerar primero la librería SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass? ¿Cuál tiene más articulaciones y es más completa? Quedo atento, saludos!
Hi! Those two products are quite different from each other... It depends on which sound you are after. Check out the audio demos. The "CONTENT" tab on each product page shows you all the content, and of course you will find walkthrough videos on our TH-cam channel! Any more questions: Contact us directly via support@vsl.co.at. -Paul
@@ViennaSymphonicLibrary so, can you give an example of a musical moment when one might choose Dimension Brass over the new brass library? I was just about to purchase Dimension Brass until I saw this new release. I mostly score to film and games. So, if there is an advantage to having both libraries, I don’t mind investing in both of them. Hence, my question.
Dimension Brass provides more access to ALL the individual players of each section, that makes it more versatile if "tone weight" is important to you and you're writing very complex divisi parts. It's also great to ADD some players to other sections like Synchron Brass. If your budget allows, go for both and find out how you like it.... Purchase on our website to get a 14-days return window for your licenses (just in case). Let us know about your opinion! Paul
Well, I purchased Synchron brass. Included instruments are clearly superior to their respective VI counterparts (which are indeed very good) in every detail: structure, musicality, sample quality and multitude of expressions! Sample content and pricing are overflowingly competitive with other brands. I’m sure 3rd and 4th horns as well as smaller groups are to come!
Not yet, we are currently working on transitioning to iLok / iLok Cloud. As soon as this happens you will get free replacement licenses + the ViennaKey is currently on sale for a very cheap price + you get a 20€ voucher if you get a ViennaKey on our website. So if you like this library I recommend to get it while it is on intro sale! - Ben
These days there is a lot of learning material available. Learn more about orchestral instruments and what they can do here: www.vsl.info/academy/ There are also demo projects available: www.vsl.co.at/MyVSL/Tutorials_Templates (make sure you are logged in) Also check out the many walkthrough videos on our channel as well as the many tutorial videos regarding MIDI programming / working with samples. - Ben
@@daviddln1987 I don't have any doubt about that it is VSL strategy that I personally don't like anymore... it is like mutes are just a secondary thing when in actual fact they are very important for composers that know how to write for brass...
Hi Max, there will always be different opinions about everything in music. For now, this is what we have, and we're very happy about it! Back to recording more... :-) Paul
@@maxtofone Yes but a lot of developers include one or two muted articulations in their Brass libraries and that's it. VSL has always created libraries dedicated to muted articulations. They did that for both Brass and Strings with the VI Series. We just have to be patient. And you can use existing VI muted brass + MIR Pro. It blends really well with the new Synchron Brass.
@@daviddln1987 Fair enough, I just don't like paying for a dedicated mute library but rather have them in the main library... just a preference of mine. Cheers, Mx

Very pleasantly surprised by my intro price! Thanks VSL 😊
Here you go! Happy to see you happy :-) Paul/VSL
Absolutely magical! CC8 is brilliant... This is the perfect companion I hoped for Elite Strings!!

Awesome! I'll have to wait for the student discounts though 🙈

Mindblowing sound. My wife and my wallet hate you already 😂
Wow!! 😲
With this release, is there still a good reason to invest in Vienna Dimension Brass?
Depends on your music, there is no simple answer to this question :)

Four individual horns is a prerequisite for 2021 brass library, maybe elite synchron brass?
You never know... Paul

Good effort but no mutes once again...
They will probably release a new library with muted Brass in the future. That's what they did with the VI Series.
