Got to take a domestic flight in Guatemala on Tag Airlines! I flew from Flores in the north of the country near Tikal National Park to Guatemala City, the country's capital. The flight was smooth and had some excellent views. Check out what a Guatemalan airline is like!

Hi, I’m planning to use TAG Airlines for my trip to Flores. Can you check in a suitcase with them? Or only small carry on suitcases?

You can check a suitcase in fact you should because the overhead bins are very small

Did you have to pay to check in at the Flores airport and get your boarding pass on TAG? Or did you print your pass?

Are they safe? How’s the comfort level in the seats & price (how much was a one-way) compared to Avianca?

They are safe it’s a much smaller plane than Avianca so you can’t fit a suitcase in the overhead bin. The plus about TAG is that they have so many flights throughout the day while Aviabca only has one. The price is about the same
