Precise Jump is in the pause menu in-stage; you just need to scroll the menu down. My tip for the targeting is to release the attack button for a sec; this will be especially useful for dash-based skills to get them to go in the right direction. For power, if you click on "Total Power" on the main screen, there's a menu that shows you in general the different types of stuff you can upgrade, plus the Gallery as you mentioned, but yeah, the instructions are a bit light for those who didn't play Online. Also, don't trust any tier lists that are from Online, as skills were changed and rebalanced to account for the removal of PVP. Iris, for example, was better for PVP than PVE.
I think I heard the offline version removed most of the tutorial (especially for the menus) because a lot of it related to the cut multiplayer modes, so yeah... You might want to look up guides for the original version. In Dive the blue units, cards and weapons are weak/common, purple are normal/uncommon and gold are strong/ultra rare. So it's really only fun using purple or gold stuff in challenge mode, though power creep was bad so some of the gold stuff got way too strong even in challenge.
Very good to know. While I'll still try to run my favorites for a while, it is good to know meta stuff for the trickier bits, so I appreciate the tips.
Useful review for me. I'll wait for it to go on sale (preferably heavily discounted)... which is what I do for any game, because I don't exactly have a lot of money. XD I love all the side characters being playable, which should make sense given my various comments e.g. the MMPU model is how I wished the entire series worked, and at they very least, feel most series should have two to four "main" characters to play as. Yeah, it waters down some games, but this isn't Sonic (which can still be done well, it just usually isn't).
Meant to mention this in the review, but I wouldn't call X Dive a stand in for the main X titles, just a nice holdover. If you're in the position to pick up just one title, I think X Legacy Collection 1 is the best deal, though Classic Collection 2 or one of the Battle Networks might be the best pick for you since I think I recall you saying that you hadn't played some of those.
Get S-Class Hunter Zero ASAP. He makes a later Boss FAR MORE MANAGABLE! Also, the crystals are called Element Medals and the Deep Elements (the purple things) DO NOT do anything for the Armor Parts, they're basically a collectible that gives you Element Medals for getting em all and serves no other purpose. The Armor Parts are obtained with either these Purple or Gold Bolts and augmented with a separate currency known as Shock Absorbers alongside Zenny.
You know. I think capcom should take a huge risk and Remake ALL Mega Man X games. And I don't think it should take a lot of time since there are Mega Man Fan Games that were made by just one guy and Capcom has hundreds if not thousands of employees. And great games like Mega Man 7 were made in like 4 months. Edit: Now that I think of it, I think they should remake All Mega Man games that aren't classic or Legends series. Make Mega Man X games more cohesive about their difficulty, make Mega Man Zero games have less Screen Crunch, Make Mega Man BN and SF games 3-D Sandbox games. I am kinda split on ZX.
Maverick Hunter X got the ball rolling, it just unfortunately didn't sell to well. Personally, though, I'd want them to start making new entries, then if we saw a Mega Man renaissance, work on remaking old entries on the side. I'll take whatever I can get, though, I am very desperate.
This is one of the best reviews I've seen for Megaman X Dive Offline, and I agree with pretty much everything you've said in the video. As a little something to keep note the the X and Zero that the game gives for free the ones that have that super saiyan aura around they are the best units in the game, especially zero he's great for all modes and with the energy shield both units get from their passive skill they can tank pretty much anything. And on top of that they heal hp after using their skills. So if you want to play the game on easy mode S class Hunter X amd S class Hunter Zero are the best.
yeah s rank zero is the better version of black armor zero.... so if saiyan zero or saiyan x making you cheese the boss pretty fast you can just downgrade it alil bit XD its fine if you bought x 1st/2nd/falcon/gaea armor they not broken compare to saiyan x or zero
You know there are two debates about Mega Man. I have asked a lot of people about their opinions and you will be no exceptions. 1. Some people say that Classic Mega Man is supposed to be Goofy, Jolly and Happy-Go-Lucky and some people say that Classic Mega Man shouldn't be as morose as X games but it shouldn't be happy-happy like Mario or Kirby games. What is your opinion? Personally, I go with latter because Mega Man is about Robots. This is one of the reasons I don't like Mega Man Powered Up. 2. This is not necessarily about Mega Man but some fan game reviewers bring up this point. Should games have info lives? The pros are Infinite lives waste less time but cons are they don't allow you to learn games. Personally, I go for the middle direction that is game should make us decide the life system.
I think the middle ground for Classic's fine. There some pretty silly stuff in the games, from character designs and animations, but at the end of the day, it's still about a megalomaniac trying to take over the world, so the stakes are high. A lot of the graphic novel interpretations have a similar tone, having gags but also getting pretty heavy at points. None of the other series ever need to get as heavy as the X and Zero games, though. As for lives, I can take them or leave them. I think my favorite system, though, was in Super Mario Odyssey. They took them out, so that you never had to worry about wasting time, but you lost coins when you died, which incentivized you to improve and not play too flippantly, since there was a lot of stuff you could buy.
@@ExploDjinn I am playing it on mobile a year ago until the difficulty curve hit me hard. the original megaman x dive makes it clear that they want you to spend moolah, that's for sure, so for me, having this offline version for just 30usd is good, pay once and let your skills unlock everything! that is what a game should be in my opinion,
You know there are people who hate the game for the sake of hating the game and not because they genuinely dislike it. As if it is a protest. While Mega Man 2 is an overrated game, there's a certain video game reviewer who dislikes Mega Man just cuz it's overrated. I will not be hypocritical and say I used to be like that too. In fact, that is the reason why Mega Man 2 is my least favourite classic game.
The game is cool for the first hour... But it is stupidly easy... The game almost beats itself without you need to play And that is a shame, cause the game could be absolutely great
@@DanielMontenegroBass I didn't say it was great. I say people hate certain games because of external factors like developer's bad attitude, controversies behind the game or it just being overrated.
