Another Nick Winfield Masterpiece
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this is a special video created for Martin (Nick's Friend) by the Artist Nick Winfield in the summer of 1994. It is a compilation of some of his excellent work made around this period and covers many locations on BR around the North West of England. Areas covering the North Wales line from Chester to Holyhead. "A Peak at Llandudno Junction ?" The Manchester area and Preston area plus lots more. Truly another masterpiece of exciting and historical events that took place in that year covering many types of Diesel, Electric and Steam traction. The video does really show Nick's talent off but sadly a lot of his other stunning material had become elusive when he regrettably passed away not that long ago. I only have a limited amount which has to be yet published, his next piece will be the 1995 annual review. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually.
