I have extensively used and individually reviewed each of the new iPhone 14 models, from the 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Today I am going to be comparing all the new iPhones, and I have broken this down into four categories: Do Not Buy (starting off positive), Easy Choice, Best Value and finally My choice. Let’s find out which is which and why. The Do Not Buy category category goes to the regular iPhone 14. It gets this category because it is so similar to last year’s iPhone 13, which Apple still sells, and now at a lower price. iPhone 14 $799, iPhone 13 $699. 13 vs 14, 13 has: same design, display, almost the same processor, similar camera, same battery life. iPhone 14 adds only: better low light photography and safety features, crash detection and emergency sos. I cant recommend the iPhone 14, only because the iPhone 13 is still so good and now with its lower price, offers better value. Easy Choice category goes to iPhone 14 Pro. For $200 more, the 14 Pro brings a lot to the table: Better design, Dynamic Island, 120 hz Pro Motion display. 14 Pro’s display is also brighter, up to 2000 nits. Unlike the regular 14’s the 14 Pros get Apples latest A16 chip. Which will last longer, I expect 1 to 2 more years of software support. A16 5-6 years, compared to A15 4-5 years. 14 Pro adds a new 48mp main sensor as well as adding a third telephoto lens. All of this for $200 more, creates for a compelling package, one that you will almost certainly be happy with! Best value phone is 14 Plus, for $100 more, adds 2 big upgrades: First big upgrade is the larger 6.7” display. Second, larger battery. 14 Plus has the best battery life I’ve ever had on any iPhone. Get 10-11hrs of screen-on time. For these reasons, the14 plus offers best value proposition of iPhone lineup/ My Choice category, this is the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Starting at $1100, the price is high, but for that you get the best of the best of what Apple has to offer. On top of everything the 14 Pro offer, the Max adds a larger 6.7” dimply and bigger battery. I have really enjoyed using the 14 Pro Max as my main phone. If you are looking for the ultimate iPhone experience, this is it!

That’s exactly the audience Apple was after people who want the “pro max size” with out the “pro max money” I really don’t understand why it’s getting so much hate?😂 obviously for $200 more you can get yourself a 14 pro max which has 120hz the all new A16 chip, the new dynamic island, and better cameras, does have a slightly worse battery then the 14 plus by about an hour though🤷♂️ day to day use both phones will hold up great only thing I see the 14 pro max having over the 14 plus is really that 120hz

Just got out of my 11 that I have had since launch in 2019 for the new 14 plus and this phone is simply amazing to have for me that is 🤙🏽
I went for the 14 Pro Max 256Gb and have absolutely no regrets.
I got that one too in black. I upgraded from the 11 so I figured go big or go home! I was able to get it in 3 days through ATT (despite the phone being on backorder until January) and got a buy one get one free on the Ultra watch. No regrets! Super grateful

@@tayriana1327 the manager of ATT in Los Angeles Koreatown store that helped us said pro maxes have been coming in 3-4 days and it did. Can’t explain it! In fact, we got two. One for me, one for my mom. Ordered Tuesday night last week, delivered Friday!

Got the plus for Christmas replacing the 8 I got near launch,It was bent with chunks of the back coming off along with a few cracks going across the entire screen yet worked fine lol.Really love this phone

I'm not sure if it was the iOS recent update but I'm getting over 11hr :20 minutes of heavy usage on my Iphone 14 Pro Max I did a battery test twice from 100% to 1% and I consistently got over 11hr :20 minutes both times, I talked on phone, web browsing, watched movies, etc very heavy usages and I still was able to hit over 11 hrs

I switched to iPhone 14 Plus from Pixel 6a before that iPhone 13 which both had 6.1inch display...
Now with 6.7inch experience past 4-5 months.. I don't want to go back to 6.1inch. I hope keeps making Plus model❤

It’s unfortunate that the iPhone 14 PLUS is getting the same hate that the mini did. Even though it doesn’t have pro features such as an extra camera, dynamic island, the A16 Bionic and 120 Hz refresh rate it’s still a good phone.
As a 13 mini owner I agree. The difference here being the mini was the most affordable in the lineup while the 14 Plus is wedged in an awkward position price-wise.
It’s kind of ironic because despite them being quite different in size both are arguably the “best value” phones of their respective years.
@@OddNaud tell me about it, that’s why I bought the 13 mini because it was the best value iPhone for its time. Fast forward to now, the iPhone 14 plus is doing much worse, it’s caught in an awkward position pricewise. It’s pretty much a dumbed down version of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I wonder what Apple will do with it.
@@123theprodigy5 a normal person don’t upgrade to a new iPhone that fast and most normal people do not pre order their new iPhone it come out some people upgrade to next year iPhones and some people keep their Iphone they have longer and some people don’t have one of IPhone 13 series or IPhone 14 series
Oh trust me, I know that, it’s just that a lot of tech TH-camrs are saying that the 14 plus is such a rip off which is really bad, even though it really isn’t. The vanilla iPhone 14 is definitely a rip off, the hate towards that is justified, but the hate towards the iPhone 14 plus isn’t though.
I love the Plus. Don’t even desire the Dynamic Island, especially since so many apps do not take advantage of it. Great battery life and great photos and videos, too. I’ll get the 15 Ultra when app developers have actually taken advantage of the Dynamic Island.
Upgraded from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 14 pro, I absolutely love it but was really hoping for the max but couldn’t find it nowhere,everywhere was out of them.

Regardless of whichever iPhone you get, you’ll be satisfied! I’m currently on the iPhone 13 and it’s an amazing iPhone to use. In my opinion, it’s a much better buy than the iPhone 14 and cheaper too, but i’m not here to tell you what to get, all i can say is that whatever iPhone you choose. It’ll be amazing.
Currently looking to upgrade from XS Max to possibly 14plus. Would love the pro/pro max but they’re so expensive here in Australia, and I can’t justify spending 2k-3k on a phone 😵💫

I like the 14 plus, do to running a business, I needed a long lasting battery from the time I wake up and go to bed. I pick it up couple days ago and used it, battery didn’t put a dent in it from the time I wake up and go to bed. I had my I phone 10 x max for so long, the battery don’t last like it use to be (new) now I am looking to upgrade my Apple Watch for me and my wife, our Apple Watch is about 3 years old. If you need the camera and don't mind the weight (and expense) go for the 14 pro. If you just want a good phone and like a larger screen go for the 14. I made a mistake a couple years ago by choosing the 11 Pro Max; while the phone was gorgeous, the weight and size were overwhelming. I ended up getting shoulder impingement form holding the phone for extended periods. It's also heavy in your pocket and inconveniently large. I thought I needed the 3-camera option but I really didn't. I recently switched back to an iphone 14 with the 6.1" screen because it's so much lighter. I won't miss the dynamic island or the high megapixel camera. The 14 is plenty big for those who want a larger display - it wasn't that long ago that we finally got a 6.1" screen!
But the topper was the price. I got a $800 credit for my 11 Pro Max, resulting in it only costing me $100 for the upgrade.

Hi Vamshi, you have a point. I could have mentioned it, but I did not as the processor remains the same so in my opinion it will not make much of a difference. Concerning the 5G I do not mention it on purpose, as 5G is under delivering so far and I do not expect that this will improve soon. Actually I advice people to turn of their 5G to save battery

Hi! This iphone 14 is beautiful, cute and completely capable, yes, of course I can have iphone 14 Pro models, but at the moment they are too expensive for me here in Estonia. And the iphone 14 plus with its larger screen is also quite good for me, who wears glasses, because this phone is much lighter than the Pro models, as I have researched here. It's just that the iphone 11 pro doesn't work properly anymore, miracles happen and maybe I can somehow exchange it for a newer iphone, for example, an iphone 14 series. My take on this is that the regular iphone 14 is most likely a great starter phone for new IOS users to get themselves familiar with how the IOS works. The Iphone 14+ has a bigger screen, great battery life yet A15 is still being used but could be a well suit up phone for those who are not really aiming for the best of the best of Apple. They can live with phone calls, messages, good camera, great audio. The Pro’s are a double kill, it has the latest technologies that a phone can offer, special features and premium looks, but do you really need it, when in fact, next year’s iphone could have new features, too? But ofcourse, if you have deep pockets, then, nobody is telling you not to buy 😅
