Love the 1/43 scale in general, perfect balance of small enough for a good layout without needing a whole room and large enough to see and enjoy detail. Wish we had more in this scale.
Hey Nico!
Very interesting Nico ...i like what you've Done here ..im planning on taking the magnet out of one of my scx or carrera go cars . Of course getting the screws to allow body float and the tyres will be the most interesting task 😊 there will always be some clowns who comment who's mother never thought them good manners .I just block em mate 😁. I wonder how the F1 cars would be to do similar stuff too but the front tyres would need to look somwhat to scale .But with the salons its ok because they are hidden .Great post mate ,appreciate you sharing the knowledge 🤗🙂
Great one Nico!! I’m looking forward to using my Carrera Go cars on my track, once I’ve built my digital to analogue box( as per SlotR Dave) for my carrera track.
DUDE! We love the 1/43 scale scx,Carrera Go and other brands imported from Ali Express here running on our 1/24 scale Carrera track! We even have started running HO (1/64 scale on our 1/24 scale tracks!) Glad to see you working on customizing the 1/43 scale. But we run only stock here on all scales with only maybe a change in rear tires. Love the ideas you have but too much fun here just the way they are as stock🏁
Nice one Nico. Great minds must think alike as we’ve been running some old Artin and some No Frills 1/43 on our Scaley track. We have access to some Scx 1/43 locally so might grab some of them couple f1s and some gt3 plus they have front lights thought that was cool. 1/43 are a different drive for sure. Sorry we missed the live 😭as you know we 😻The Dude!
Hey Nico! Nice that you are dealing with the small scale. In my opinion, you will only have fun in the long run if you convert to moveable guide keel. Due to the large ground clearance, they like to go out of the slot at the front. When drifting, the guide pin tilts and you only have a small boundary area. A good alternative is SCX Compact. Also cheap but the car is lighter, the centre of gravity lower and a moveable guide keel is installed. I'm curious to see how it goes on. Greetings, Chris
Wrong scale for me Nico but a very interesting and informative video. Thank you buddy for sharing 🙏🙏🙏 I'm intrigued buddy, can I run 1:43 cars on my scalextric track? 👍👍👍
Nice! they are fun and inexpensive that's for sure! ware did you find urethane tires for go cars I can't find anything for them I wish more companies made some hop up parts for the 1/43 cars as they are a great size. It ran nice without no magnet now if only they used a flag guide like the 1/32 cars they would really run like champs! SCX 1/43 cars have a flag guide and lights too and they also have ninco 1/43 clones on aliexpress for like 2 for 21 bucks shipped I show them on my channel those have the flag guide and lights also.
If it runs on a slot car track then Nico can tune it 🤔 Have run Carrera go on my track as a way for my granddaughter to enjoy racing without worry about crashes and damage. Thanks for sharing 👍

You just mentioned all the advantages for the 1/43 scale!! And yes, a little more choice of cars would be nice for this scale!!!
Nicely tuned and detailed video. I also run all my 1/43 cars non magnet. But I'm lazy and just fit polyurethane rear tyres. They're great fun 👍😎🏁
