While I buy Carrera cars I am mainly a Scalextric person, but hats off to Carrera for their packaging, and the amount of track you get in a single set. I think my love of Scalextric is that I've never been a fan of thumb controllers, prefer the trigger style as I find it more intuitive. They do also make beautiful cars (Carrera). As said I have several and another on the way.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! That's the 2nd Digital Set I have. I really like the Wireless Controllers! Have Fun racing it! I didn't like the White Bags though.
Nice set my friend. Coming with the dongle and wireless controller's makes it extra special. Hey, it's interesting in my unboxing the barriers were also scattered all over the place. Maybe Carrera need to put them in a better bag 😊....Greetings 🤗...Harry
That's is a coincidence. Those paper sacks are very flimsy. I am having fun learning about the digital set and the wireless is nice. The one thing that has surprised me is they don't supply an accessory track with the wireless like they do if you just by them separately. I added a pit lane in line with the CU and have lost my power port. So now I have to buy an accessory track piece to get power. 🙃
@SouthernSlotRacing Ahh very clever 🤔they will get you to spend more money 😁 I'm going analog so my Digital stuff will stay in the box for the foreseeable future. Maybe when I build a bigger track or find some race buddies I will connect the digital aspects of the track 🤗
That's what I am doing as well. I am trying to figure out what I want to build and the features before I just through something up. It's a journey for sure.
I just received this set today. I haven't unboxed it yet I am waiting on the App Connect and a couple other cars to show up. Looks like you have a set up like I am planning due to minimal space. Subbed.
Thank you for subbing. I have everything on a 4x8 for now. I am designing a larger layout. But still want to have the fun factor and learn the system. Good luck with your layout.
Hi Chris merry Christmas to you and family is every one changing from HO to 1/32 l have never owned any thing but HO but it does look interesting have we fun brother that’s what’s it about 😊😊😊😊🛐✝️🙏🎄🎁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I am not changing over. I still have a lot of HO. I am exploring the digital side of the hobby. I have 1/43 also. I like them all. That’s what makes it hard and interesting 🤔
i have a ? as to racing 1.32 to 1.24 .. do the smaller cars race bigger on any size track compared to the larger cars.. i mean race wise with the bigger cars make the track smaller and race shorter i know the track is the same and all but distance traveled from smaller to bigger . hope tried to make that explanation right. not sure which way i want to go with car size , i know the bigger cars a bit heavier for more control over the smaller cars.... thx for viewing my inquirey
That’s a great question. I think the 1/24 car size would make the track feel smaller. I don’t have one to try. But they are much bigger. You have the same track foot print size. I like the 1/32 size because you have plenty of room between the cars. Especially in turns.
I have 4 wireless controllers need 2 more. So figured just go buy this starter set plus I get 2 more cars a lot more tracks etc…..will be arriving tomorrow. No ce unboxing thanks for the video.
It's pretty wild what they are doing digitally now...mandatory pit stops, penalty stops, lane changing, digital cars, a hell of a lot diff than my old strombecker set from 1967 lol
Yes the digital experience can be very exciting. You can have your own pit boss talking in your ear letting you know when to fuel, change tires, and lap times. It's a lot of fun wheather your alone or with friends.

@@MW_1981 Honestly I think it comes down to cars and maybe price. Bull and Horse have DTM Ferrari 488 GT3 cars and 24ft of track. Race to victory is KTM X-BOW GT2 'and Mercedes-AMG GT3 and 26ft of track. Where I bought mine the Bull and Horse set was $10 more. You cant go wrong with either.
@@MW_1981 its hard to say, both have equal fun value, and only .4 of a meter in track size, bull and horse gives you two identical cars, race tovictory you get the xbow and mercedes, although sayin that the ktm xbow is fast, if you check my video you see it came of the track i put it back and it caught up and passed even me, its a coin toss as for which set you want, for more fun add a pit lane for fueling..

I haven't picked up any Scalextric cars. I have seen some nice ones at the hobby shop. I would like to try one for sure.

Thank you for subbing.
The 16 car is slow, but the 20 is one of the fastest.
I guess l can see why the cars look 👀 cool and all the cool track and different trick things seems like it runs quieter two.✝️🙏🛐🇺🇸🎄🛐🇺🇸
It does run quieter than the click clack track for sure.
holy crap, it ain't cheap!! $818 CDN where I live....sheesh.
Sunday Slot car has them for around $640 Canadian. Around $390 US.
How much is that track?
About $360 US
i have this set ,its great,it goes with my bull and horse set

I bought mine at a local Hobby Town. You can find these online several places. Looks like Amazon has it and eBay as well.
