Hi Nico, it's always appreciated when someone goes to the trouble of making useful videos like this. Thanks. Personally I'd say two of the most important areas for ballast are the two not in the diagram, the black areas between the front wheels and rear wheels. I also don't like putting ballast in front of the front axle or behind the rear axle, but that's my own personal preference. Tuning handling with ballast can be as easy or complicated as you want and can be used to tweak a cars handling in different ways. My favourite ballast is lead, it's easy to cut and shape and I happened to find a small roll of roofing lead at the side of the road one morning about 8 years ago. In English it's pronounced 'led' as in Led Zeppelin 👍
Thanks for stopping by! As mentioned it comes down to personal preference! And yes I agree, of course you can also use the black areas as well!! And thanks for the LED reminder, Dave has already made me aware.
excellent information thanks Nico. Will be experimenting with weight on some of my horrible to drive cars I tend to leave on the shelf as I don't like shelf queens.
Thank for an excellent and much needed review. Can you please provide the link to the article as I've searched their site without success. Many thanks from downunder...
I will be racing tonight, so can't join you at the release! I'll also tracktest the Golf GTI tonight! Enjoy the video, I will issue the chart later tonight on my Community here on TH-cam!!
Moin Nico.

How much weight would you advice to test the car? 10g, 5 g?
Yes, start off with like 5gr and see what it does. You can always add or reduce after that and feel the difference!
That’s a shame Nico as you know we do love our chats with you but we’ll soldier on without you🫡👀🚘🦊🤪
