I do this all the time . I get rid of junk for low resale but my store consistantly sells 4 to 5 items every day not making alot but did 4000 in 90 days problem is my selling cost are at 55 percent but still earning about 1100 amonth followimg these sugggestions. Waiting to return to work as a sheriff deputy and struggling to pay my bills for personal reasons but consistantly listing everyday and selling rhe good items i can find along with the other things and dropping prices and making offers everyday is keeping me alive . I get it it works and when i get in a better place i will source better but for now this is working . What you are telling them really does work . Good video

Our secret is our Inventory draft bank. One should put into savings a minimum of 10% of their daily listings.
    We store up 20% ourselves
Example: If we post 20 live listings we also created 2 for our draft bank , or say we create 277 live listings than we would either create another 28 for our draft bank or list 250 live and put the other 27 in our DB. Also we maintain a minimum 500 drafts in our DB at any given time this allows us a few days of grace should we ever need it.

Agree completely. I have seen a ton of items (sports memorabilia/cards) that have been sitting in someone's store for five or six YEARS. I've bid what I consider reasonable, and get turned down. Obviously, no one else is meeting their price, so perhaps they need to do a re-think. A smart dealer would have taken a smaller profit on the items and put the money into something else. There could have been twenty turnovers of that profit by now.

Igot in a rut a while back and finally got busy today and listed about 5 Netgear Nighthawk routers, I feel I always sell my items too cheap, well I know I do but after a while I just wanna get them gone. These routers some run $200+ and the ones I sell are literally almost new but I list them at starting prices around $10-$20 and Buy It Now prices of around $25-40 (depending on model). Casey can you do a video and talk about pricing in depth??? 🙏🏻 Please.

If you have quality products stop selling so cheap. If you’re making your established profit margin reducing your price alittle, great. It’s a win-win for you and the buyer. You’re in business to make money, right?
Don’t give it away at garage sale prices. What you are doing is losing your unnecessary gains and driving the market down hurting other buyers in the process. Don’t make it a race to the bottom price because it only hurts all sellers in the long run. Peace and blessings.

@@Major_Pita1 thank you, that's solid advice. I know I find myself thinking, "Why am I giving these really amazing products away? Why am I making pocket change off things I know are worth a lot of money? Why?" I just get so tired of seeing items sit on eBay for weeks and no offers because other sellers list the same item for less so I absolutely understand when you say it hurts the market and especially other sellers... I certainly want no part in hurting other sellers, we make ebay possible! Seriously my heart goes out to good honest sellers because there are so many scammers on eBay and other platforms that people new to eBay that are honest and good end up leaving after getting scammed which in turn simply dilutes the platform with more scammers than good sellers. Ugh... Anyways sorry for the rant, you 100% right I need to just buckle down on my prices rather than give in and accept a low bid, perhaps I need to be more patient. I'm one of those people who would do a listing flurry, then ramp up to another listing flurry a few days later, so thank you for bringing the "list 4 or 5 items a day, every day" to my attention, to make the algorithm work in my favor.
I do have a question about that. I've put a bunch of listings together, and I'm planning to meter them out at 5 per day as you instructed...however, does the time of day matter? If I drop 5 listings at 1130pm on a Monday, do I need to wait a full 24 hours after that (1130pm on the following Tuesday), or is it only the actual date that matters? So, could I drop 5 at 400pm on one day, and then 5 more at 830am on the next day (and get the algorithm to work)?
    I appreciate your help!

What would you recommend for getting better inventory from thrift stores? I do great in spring/summer/fall but as soon as I have to return to the local or even. Thrift stores hours away the quality of inventory goes waaay down and that is winter. Starting in January and all the way till May. I feel like I have a reasonable grasp on what is good inventory as I've been doing it for 5 years. Even the estate sales are super hard around here. The main thing is that goodwill which dominate our area has priced certain things like dvds, books, cds, games, etc at this flat 2.99 and it makes it tough. Additionally we have 14 clothing flippers who dominate each store and won't hesitate to hit hard goods too. Sorry I know this sounds whiny and I don't mean for it to but it's just been my issue for a while and why I'm stuck making sure 2.5k gross in winter and 10.5k in summer per. Month. You have to be better at spotting value than other resellers and people pricing for the thrift store. This is a very competitive business. Goodwill does suck but I can always find items to resell because I am a lot better at than they are, which mostly comes down to experience. Also try small thrift stores staffed by volunteers.
