The landscape and the soundtracks produce mystic atmosphere, especially when there are empty villages and nobody is around, seems like locals don't like to leave their homes. Thank you for the video!

Love your videos, especially the step by step parts, which help in planning. I’ll be visiting the Faroes next summer. But what happened to the “isn’t it something” comments?

Amazing landscape. You are restless in your pursuit of natural beauty. It’s also interesting when you enter these small villages and see the buildings lacking much of a personal touch to them. They almost appear to be ghost towns. Well kept though.

Thank you. I am always on the hunt for natural beauty. The local government did a good job to maintain those small villages.

Wow, admire your persistance and determination to do the hike twice and alone. Its definitely not easy. Would you like to share what keeps you going and doing all these as a solo traveller

Thank you so much for your kind words. What keeps me going and motivates me to do these hikes alone is a combination of factors. First and foremost, I find peace in nature, and hiking solo allows me to truly immerse myself in the natural world and experience it in a unique way. It's a journey of self-discovery and a chance to test my limits. I also believe that solo travel and hiking can be empowering and help build self-confidence. It forces me to rely on my own skills and judgment.

Very beautiful. I dont think you can ever get tired of the wiev.
I only see trees in the bigger cities. In the alps there is a tree limit. They must have imported the tree for the buildings. Problably from Norway.

The harsh climate does not help trees to grow there. Greenland has the same issue. Iceland has a similar issue but it is not as harsh as Greenland and Faroe Islands.

I know the Faero Islands and Greenland are part of Denmark. I consider them different countries that share the queen with us. They also get a smaller economic contribution every year.

I noticed that Greenlandic people don't get annoyed if a tourist mentions that Greenland is part of Denmark. However, some Faroese people/Faroe Islanders don't like it when they hear that the Faroe Islands are part of Denmark. I learned that from a local farmer on Vagar Island.
