Einar has been together with his two brothers for over 90 years. He considers them his best friends.

Me too. I’ve also retired but I too have signed up to contribute to their Patreon page, the only one I support on a monthly basis. This channel has the most beautiful, inspiring videos and I feel I must do my bit to help ensure they continue.

I was a nurse for elder care for years...it was so hard to see each soul get ready for final flight to heaven...I can still see and hear them

One more time I’m at a loss for words, even after I’ve given myself days to simply take in the beauty of the people you film and the way you film them. (I can’t get over how your films look like high budget films with a full crew - you’ve MASTERED your skills, GR. Seriously, I’m so blown away!!) I’ve watched this over and over and still struggle with how to convey the love I feel for this beautiful man, the awe I feel over EVERY artistic choice you make and the overwhelming joy that you are using your lives to share him with us. If I could meet him in person I would say, “Thank YOU for giving and living your life as a gift.” And thank YOU, GR, for gifting him with such an honoring portrait. And thank you for including that priceless moment of his brother singing! What a treasure for him and also a real treat for me and my family as our dad sang that song to us countless times through our childhood and still does today!

I was born and grew up in Newfoundland, every time I watch one of your videos, especially in the Faroe Islands, I get goose bumps. They are always heart touching and remind me of my home. I've been away for many years. The Faroe Islands are on my bucket list! I would love to visit and feel the magic from the land and the people!! TFS

So lovely to see the relationship between brothers. I have three sisters, and as we get a little older, our times together become so much more important. I value them … their wisdom … their love … their acceptance. Yes, they are the ones who know me best … and still love me. This video has been a beautiful reminder of their value. Thank you.
I also have three sisters. We are in our 60s and we still take care of each other and have fun together. My sisters are my best friends and I thank God for them every day. We are so blessed.

When I view these short films of positivity and decency I can not help but begin to get angry. Angry at the constant beating of forces that want to do nothing more then sell a product or control what you think. All any normal person wants is a beautiful planet where they can be at peace with their family. Why must there always be those who feel they have the right to dictate? These short films give me hope that there is a movement in a positive direction and I strongly thank you for that.

He is very blessed...many of us don't have that connection with family..I have a brother and don't see eac other as much as I would like...cherish the moments with friends and family whenever you can..life is short...make a phone call, do a zoom or face time them...stay safe everyone...we will get through this.................🙇♀️

Strong familial bonds are a treasure. The bonds do not always last for a variety of reasons, as in my case, and that's okay too. But what a beautiful thing to go through life and have such close and strong bonds with others, and I can only imagine in particular with those you grew up with. The Faroe Islands are incredibly gorgeous and on my bucket list to visit someday.
Hi Jennifer 💚 you should nudge them up and your bucket list ;-) definitely worth it! It is a special kind of feeling being okay with bonds that break - very freeing to feel this way!

My mother's favorite song was "You are my Sunshine." i haven't heard it in decades. And twice I have heard it today. In this video and in another earlier where a little boy sang it to his newborn baby brother.
It is quite something when someone can say 'my younger brother is 90 years old." I hope the time the 3 of them have remaining will be joyful and full of love till the day they meet up again.

We had no sisters!! 🤣🤣 I grew up a tomboy I found that pretty funny. 💗

Ohhh.... I found it kind of sad that when he was asked, what's the secret to old age, as in longevity, his answer was "I'll give you the right answer. We didn't have any sisters to interfere with our lives. We grew up like boys".
Maybe he was joking? It didn't seem so. It just makes me sad and reminded once again how for too long in society women and girls have been looked at as having less value throughout the centuries.
I think it's wonderful the bond he had with his brothers, but his comment about not having sisters, made me very sad .... angry even.

Unfortunately we can't go back in time and change things. But it's good to see many positive changes have been made in regards to how women and girls are viewed and valued, specially in the developing countries.
We still have a long way to go. But at least there's been some progress and awareness about this. Which I'm extremely grateful for.

The comment about not having a sister is interesting to me. It makes me wonder what the roles are for the sexes in a small and remote community like this. Also the idea of community--of really living in close proximity to people whom you spend a lifetime getting to know, is very beautiful and in many areas of the world not how people live. The country where I am from, many families are separated by great
distances and rarely see each other. The Faroe Islands have always been one of the seemingly most beautiful places in the world to me. I haven't visited, but dream of doing so, but also realize that by not visiting and being a tourist, it helps to preserve their way of living.

I think he joke and being boys they were doing things most boys like to be outside running and horse playing while if he had sister they would want to care for them in ways that would stop them to run wild! There was no mean meaning on that say just loving ways to address women as if we always need them...
What one man sees as interference another sees as support! And above all is the Cosmic Joker cracking up at His own Joke. 😂
