That word 'thief' does not belong in a sentence with a VOLUNTARY TRANSACTION. It is our own responsibility to research on our own (independently of the person claiming it's great) any investment we make with our own property. That is what I would have said to those 2 women who obviously have no concept of right and wrong or the difference between prudent and immoral.
Is it prudent (or kind) to give advice about investments that you know is probably bad... No. That is not kind or prudent behavior.
Is it immoral (wrong/evil) to suggest you like stocks that are crap? NO, it is NOT.
That is why we have free will. That is why the transactions between free men and women and their private property is voluntary, and because it is voluntary, it is impossible to steal (be a thief) from a person who VOLUNTARILY WANTS TO BUY THE SHITTY STOCK.
This distinction/difference has been washed clean of our social understanding over the past 100 years. We are now being taught that you can steal even when the responsibility falls on the owner of the property not to voluntarily give it to something or someone he should have otherwise investigated, got references for, and that in the end knows carries RISK. That is the free market. That is FREEDOM. (I know this is shocking to many people, because they were never really raised to understand that it is our own personal responsibility to protect our property from voluntarily making poor choices with it.)
I find it comical that they do not call the gov. a thief when they IN-voluntarily take our privater property... but when another person asks Voluntarily, and we agree voluntarily to offer property, they are called a thief. This planet needs to be RE-educated about Moral Truth. (But the truth is that the gov do not want us to be educated about it... because if we were, we would begin to understand the difference between voluntary peaceful trade and interaction as opposed to Force, Coercion, and In-Voluntarily being threatened to do A, B, and C, and to give up our property under threat of force.) ...That guy was NOT a thief... he was a financial advisor that should have been scrutinized, recognized, and then ignored and not voluntarily invested with. That is what a responsible ADULT is supposed to realize.
