i just play ranked because there are actual people on my skill level lmao. If I play casual i only get Demons as opponents lmao, which also can be fun because you learn from them. But it's more fun to learn from people at a similar skill level, even if not as efficient.
It actually is more efficient in the long run since you're absorbing the fundamentals concisely and learning how to have fun with the game at the same time.
Not really, you can quick-match (I am having people plug there so not much a difference), group match, tournaments are a new thing etc. Plenty of ways to get better.
@@sundern1689yes ranked puts you against people who want to climb (not necessarily get better). Even in blue ranks, many just go through their charts, abusive things, then throw the match and plug. Can’t even look at the replay to learn from it because disconnects aren’t saved.
@@TheFivegoodemperors they want to climb so they use effective flow charts and good moves. You can learn how to counter those flow charts and how to punish the moves. If you're serious about getting better ranked is effective for that. The plugging was never really an issue for me so I can't really speak on that.
If u care about a title, color, learning the game, playing good players then yes.. I've been playing ranked to get rid of the lower ranked button mashers Other wise it doesn't matter in my opinion

I think it's worth it until you run into Dragunov. Devil Jin , and Reina then rank becomes pointless it LOL.

If you want to get better, yes. Besides that, not really.
So true. I agree with both sides. I don’t have much time so sometimes I just vibe on quick play. Sometimes I’ll get on ranked but definitely no rush.

@@TheFivegoodemperors didn't say it was the only way. It will put you up against other people who are actively trying to climb.
