I got a pair of these a few years ago, I haven’t used them too roughly but I have used them under my car, and I also found it very handy when working on my furnace last fall/winter. (Really nice to stand it up and have it shine on the board terminals.) I like its versatility in that it can be used in various positions, either with or without the magnet. I only found out last week that it has the red light, though I will probably never use it it’s nice to have. I’ve found the battery life to be quite good, and I like that it’s rechargeable.
I was using it a few days ago to inspect plastic parts in shipping racks; the long skinny business end made it much easier, as I didn’t have to take the parts out, as I would with a regular flashlight. I gave one away so others could continue using it, and then wound up buying 4 more (at around $6.50 each) to keep one in each car, in the house, and one or two for my father. 😀

Any standard USB port. It comes with a short cord, but can use any micro USB cable.
