I must have watched this a dozen times now; the best "home video" I've ever seen - and four years later, when sitting at home in Oz planning our holiday of a lifetime, including my first visit to the Bluebell, I didn't even know the job had been done! I was gobsmacked to arrive at Sheffield Park just in time for the last train on 9 May 1998, to hear the announcement that it was to,,,Kingscote!?! My video of that journey - and our dining trip that evening - is a treasured chunk of memory.
A brilliant and well put together documentary. Well done!
One of the very best records of the Bluebell I have ever seen. The work involved was simply staggering. 17:22 -Clay soup, anyone? Lovely to see dear Bernard at the end, too. If anyone from overseas wants to try to understand the quirky, bloody minded determination of the British character, this should be required viewing. Priceless, and thank you.

I can't wait for the Finish, it will be so good. Unthinkable for so many years. I remember walking the trackbed from HK to the tunnel in about 1973, thinking "if only....". Now look, amazing.
Brilliantly made video and a fitting tribute to an amazingly dedicated group of people. I must sat that getting attacked by dogs really does show commitment to record everything!

Looking at this, and subsequently the tip removal and extension to East Grinstead, I'm forced into the conclsion that on the Bluebell the impossible just takes a little bit longer!
I would have loved to be able to watch them do this the first time - all by hand!
