U have no idea how many times I go back to your old videos when I’m stumped and learn sometime new every time . Had a brain fart on how to set up the Lee factory crimp for a 40/10 mm on the t-7 press . Great info 1000x over
I have the Lee FCD's for all my handgun and rifle calibers. It's an excellent die, especially for reliable chambering and feeding in semi auto handgun cartridges.
Thanks for sharing the information. When I first started reloading I had a Lee Classic Turret press. And had a problem with the bulge on my bullets until I finally figured it out.
I like the Lee FCD. Most problems are associated with having a cylinder or chamber that is not SAMMI spec. The die is a case gauge. For some reason this is not understood by those that intentionally size their cast lead bullets larger in diameter than SAMMI spec.
Im struggling with my 40sw factory crimp die and cast boolits. When the loaded round goes up into the die body , there is a lot of resistance and then it will " jump" like it's getting past something and it will do the same when I remove the round. It will also pull the boolit back out of the case. It's driving me crazy!!!

$500 says its not hitting the carrier and its bottoming out on the black plast that kicks out the shell.
When crimping it that tight, don't you have to watch your pressure?
I like to factory crimp die but the rest of stuff is garbage
