I'm keeping this for frequent review, better than Lee's instructional videos for sure. Some ideas for next/future version,,,how to reset the de-capping pin, use of the dummy round for future bullet seating depth, on setting bullet seating depth each full rotation is 0.055 inch, difference of roll crimp and taper crimp, plunk barrel test for semi's(close up of case head to barrel hood-needs level to slight deeper), what bullet set back is(test crimp strength to ensure doesn't happen but not too hard), why semi ramps and bullet shape require test feeding, importance of proper primer depth, sorting brass-what happens if 380 gets mixed in with 9mm, if 22lr or 9mm brass is inside other brass when de-capping, 45 acp can be either small or large primer pocket but can't mix, be aware of what a double charge looks like inside case(this is biggest safety issue-correct powder amount) Looking forward to more videos!
Awesome set up video, only wish I cudda seen your powder drop set up. That's one of the only things I haven't set up yet, and sure want to get that going on my turret press.
I have had my classic turret for maybe 15 years or more with quite a few die sets, but I run it somewhat infrequently. So I always like to watch a refresher tutorial. So critical to get it right. This was well done and you seem like an super pleasant/awesome dude. Thank you so much for taking your valuable time to create and post this. I'm subscribed!!
Thanks for the video. I’m a new reloader and loved this! Im so new, I haven’t purchased a press yet, but I’m still learning by watching videos. Thanks for going over all 4 stations and what each die is used for!! 👍👍👍👍 I have saved this to watch again when my press is delivered.
Jess The only thing that you forgot to mention was the Lee factory crimp die does , It also post sizes the completed round. Been reloading for years but it’s always worth watching someone like yourself. Have subscribed.
I am just now getting started reloading My Own 9mm on a Lee 4 Die set Press. I needed to know just how to set My Die's. Thank You for this Video cause it is just the right step to put Me in the Right Die Reloading Press My 9mm. This Video is the Key to My answer. Thank's once again.
I've read tons of manuals and watched hours and hours of videos. I've set up a few presses that work, but never had confidence in any knowledge. The way you presented it, I immediately got up and set up my 10/40 set and nailed it. Thank you. Liked and subscribed.
How do you like that roller handle? I bought one but haven't installed it yet. Will probably wait until I put the indexing rod back in and start cranking out dozens or hundreds of rounds. Right now I'm just loading a few experimental rounds for several different rifles. Thanks for the vid!
Great. Video for a newbie like me. I am starting out with a single stage press but everything you showed would apply for the single with the exception I will be taking each die out as each step is completed and putting in the next die correct?
Yes, that’s correct only difference is that you have to switch dies. You just complete each step of the process for all of your brass before switching dies.

@@johnh4957 that’s for some ideas. Some of these I’ve covered on this channel. A couple others I covered on my main channel.

Very good. Thank you
very well done, a ton of good information, keep up the good work teaching young reloaders.
Thanks 👍
Thank you!
As I have told you before you are a great teacher, setting up Lee Dies made easy!!
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Outstanding video!!! It helped a lot. I took a beating trying to set up the Lee die set for the 380. The 9 mil was ok. Thank you.
@@tracker-one-niner thanks for watching.
great video (and very nice Redhawk)
Thanks!
thanks for this video!,i just ordered a lee turret press and will be using your methods,
👍
Jessie, I like that center punch idea.I use a black marker but it wears off after a while.
It’s nice to always have the punch to make a permanent mark.
Just got my Lee Classic Cast yesterday! Viejo mentioned you. But I drop in from time to time to watch your content, good stuff!
Have fun with it and thanks for watching.
Very helpful thank you!!
Thanks for watching.
I was given a similar press though it had no manual. I do appreciate you going over all this. I had plans to use Black powder when I can.

Thanks for watching.
3:20, would you need to add in 1/8 of a inch to go deeper so it poke the primer out?
Not if the pin is set up right.
Excellent thank you!!
Thanks for watching.
Excellent video Jesse👍🤘👍🤘👍🤘

That was a great video Jesse
Thanks Chris 👊🇺🇸
I’ve got a Lee Loadmaster 5 die progressive. What is the 5th die I need?
Bullet feeder, powder check die, whatever you want to add in to it.
Good job 👍
Thanks 👍🇺🇸

It’s better than the regular one. If I did it over again I would have got the inline fabrication one.
@@jesseboutdoorsreloading ya, that's a good one. Have one on my Hornady LNL AP.

Yep it’s the same. When I get my single stage back out again I’ll do a video with it.
