My grandfather collected coins since he was a kid and got me into collecting coins and and after he passed he was going to give me his collection worth thousands and after he passed they ended up going missing with many other things. I found out by another family member that my cousins family broke in and ransacked the place and they sold the coins for 500 bucks at a pawnshop. Since I knew they stole them but had no video evidence or anything they got away with it. It's insane how people will do anything they can to get people's stuff after they pass away, it's sad.
That's a terrible shame Worth a lot of money, those coins are. Sorry to hear that about ur grandfather.
you should have went to flea market and bought them back, i bet they worth a lot more than 500 bucks

Hi, I have a 2005-P Kansas State Quarter that I have never seen before, the edge is not like a clad, the whole coin looks nickel. Is there a variety like that? 5.78gms is the weight
that's within tolerance and if it missing some clad that would be a little under weight. Still valuable to the right person

Theres no such thing as an accident at the Us mints. Everything is done intentionally and some errors "slip" quality control and make it into the public INTENTIONALLY. IT STIMULATES THE ECONOMY
Came across 1969 S Washington quarter at a Taco Bell drive thru. Looks like it was just spit out of the minting press. Sharp ridge edge,had to use a 10x magnifier and it has the bare minimum of any circulation markings on it at all. I was told by a few knowledgeable people who collect coin's and was told by each one separately that it's a proof coin. Condition wise, I would have to say it's no less than a MS 67or MS 68.

I took a $100.00 gold certificate into a coin shop in Tucson az and they switched it out for a regular hundred bill. I didn't catch it till later. It was for my kids and refused his offer

@@lydiaporras7019 My advice to you is before you get your coins graded, make sure that they look almost new because you might lose your money. It costs a lot of money just to grade one coin. It is very difficult for an old or circulated coin to get a grade of 66, 67, 68, 69 and 70. Coins with grades below 67 are not really valuable unless they are extremely rare. In brief, you don't need to grade any coin.
@@lydiaporras7019 steel pennies worth: 1943 16 cents, 1943 d 22 cents, 1943 s 27 cents, one in mint condition(not replated) is worth up to $20. Not worth grading, that would cost you $50 or more per coin, there not worth that much

How would one distinguish between a 1922 no D with a Philadelphia struck coin?
Not only is the 1965 dime stuck on a dime planchet it is a silver planchet. If a 1965 dime were struck on a silver planchet it would be an error.. that is one heck of a coin

Google it before pawn shops,, In Las Vegas, they are coin & gold shops,, but pawn shops buy for low,if you don't pay the loan or buy back ,they sell high, i see some things in pawn shops, so high, just go buy new, and for rare coins, i would do the research, especially Now Days.

I think you need to make people clear that the odds of finding one of those kinds of error coins are like ‘one in 1 million’ i’d be better buying a lottery ticket. collectors Need to put their focus more on condition and low mintage coins for profit.
Don't know about where you live, but here the lottery is about 1:6000000, so you are far better off with 1:1000000

But mine isn't graded as of yet. The cost of doing that well lot more money than I am able to pay for grading at the moment.i don't know how you send me pictures of your Penny's unless you use the text message on here it's direct I believe but

You can sell me your Lincoln pennies. If They are wheat pennies and in good condition, I can buy them.
You're only telling people half truth. They didn't bring that much just because of them being mint errors. The grade they got has a lot to do with it. If you have one that grades lower, it will not bring as much. If you have one and it grades higher, it will bring more. I strongly advise people to use extreme caution following this half knowledge dude. He will get you ripped off as well.
