thank you for sharing your journey Ida! I love how you didn't just talk about quitting your job and then magically life was amazing, which is what you see in a lot of other videos. I love how you are real and honest about the journey and shared the specific things you tried and what you learned from it. It's really inspiring 🌟
Katharina, thank you for watching and for your kind words. It makes me truly happy and so grateful. And yes it def. is not a butterflies and roses story to quit a career and start something new, so I really wanted to share the raw story and all the failures. Cus the failures matter the most. Looking forward to follow your journey as well!
Hi Ida! You did a beautiful job storytelling and sharing your life lessons. It makes me smile to hear your story and see so many others in the comments experience something similar. I quit my successful full-time job in NYC to pursue traveling abroad with my best friend (three years ago!!!) and I truly have never been happier. You shared so many relatable and *important* reminders about life. Two that are resonating with me the most right now are that "what is meant for you will never pass you" and to keep reinventing yourself. I'm in the reinventing phase right now and cherishing it. I love seeing other people take the risk and fulfill their dreams and passions! Also, your HerCycle App sounds super fab (and so important) for us females. Thank you! ♡
Thank you for watching! Wow that's also very inspiring, it must have been a challenging decision I can imagine. And yes totally agree on reinventing ourselves, it's always ok to start over and try something else. Looking forward to follow your journey as well!
Amazing that this came up in my recommended, this resonates so deeply. I'm going through this right now, putting in my two weeks today (29 in 3 months) and backpacking Asia for the next 3-6 months.
I really enjoyed watching your video. Not only it is so nicely made, but also the topic and content is amazing and so relevant for these times. Thank you for publishing it and for being certainly an inspiration for many.

Awesome video Ida! Very relatable. I went through a similar transition a few years ago when I quit law to start a business with my best friend. Good luck on your journey!
Thank you so much for sharing Ida, a lot of what you shared resonated with me too and yes, being a yoga teacher is hard, as someone who has tried and has many different backgrounds I can only say they matter too, it is just that we are a package what can I say haha)) But, I totally support and agree that what is meant for each person will not pass, thank you for the inspiration!!!
Thank you for watching! I love your channel and that you are going all in on the yoga. I know how hard it is! But keep going, keep trying if it's what you truly want. Universe will find a way. Looking forward to follow your journey!
@@ida_starstream Thanks so much Ida, same for you Ida, hope what you are doing will be fruitful and it's something you truly enjoy doing, it gives joy and inspiration, thank you!!
I can totally relate. I quit after finally getting my “dream role “ in a global corporate company but I was still empt inside , and then I got really depressed 😔 Then I resigned a year ago after 9 years of being a lawyer , and now I’m a photographer and aspiring full time TH-camrs but I’m sooo much happier . Was chasing societal dreams or what people applaud you for and other people’s dreams instead of doing what makes me happy
Wow what a journey! I love this, thanks for sharing. These are the stories I live for haha. When we choose life and when we choose ourselves. Looking forward to follow your journey!
