Hi Ida! You did a beautiful job storytelling and sharing your life lessons. It makes me smile to hear your story and see so many others in the comments experience something similar. I quit my successful full-time job in NYC to pursue traveling abroad with my best friend (three years ago!!!) and I truly have never been happier. You shared so many relatable and *important* reminders about life. Two that are resonating with me the most right now are that "what is meant for you will never pass you" and to keep reinventing yourself. I'm in the reinventing phase right now and cherishing it. I love seeing other people take the risk and fulfill their dreams and passions! Also, your HerCycle App sounds super fab (and so important) for us females. Thank you! ♡

Thank you so much for this video-I can see we share many values. When you spoke about your wife, my heart melted. I come from a country where same-sex marriages are impossible, and the existence of such couples is often denied. They frequently face discrimination, violence, and as a result, minority stress and challenges with mental health. I believe your video and your story are incredibly important. While it's not the only example we can find on TH-cam, your story resonates with me so much more. I feel a lot of honesty and authenticity in it. And the fact that you took me back to a country and city I completely fell in love with while living there... ahhh! :) And what you said about the menstrual cycle-so important! It ties beautifully into yoga and meditation :) I'm rooting for you!

I can totally relate. I quit after finally getting my “dream role “ in a global corporate company but I was still empt inside , and then I got really depressed 😔 Then I resigned a year ago after 9 years of being a lawyer , and now I’m a photographer and aspiring full time TH-camrs but I’m sooo much happier . Was chasing societal dreams or what people applaud you for and other people’s dreams instead of doing what makes me happy

Thank you so much for sharing Ida, a lot of what you shared resonated with me too and yes, being a yoga teacher is hard, as someone who has tried and has many different backgrounds I can only say they matter too, it is just that we are a package what can I say haha)) But, I totally support and agree that what is meant for each person will not pass, thank you for the inspiration!!!

Wow, you went to Gifu! I was born in Gifu City. You walked all the way from 加佐美神社 to 伊吹の滝(瀧) and to はこにわ珈琲 after mountain hike!? BTW the correct pronunciation of Gifu should be Gi (as in "give") + hu (not English "fu"). How did you know this place and decided to go there??
