I am still decluttering from a lifetime of accumulated paperwork primarily. And then sometimes things that have no monitory value and are simply taking up space. When I was a young woman I adopted the routine I saw Mother-in-Law using. Every late winter I would begin to clean one cupboard at a time, washing the contents, cleaning the inside of the cupboard, then replacing what I intended to keep. I have had difficult years when I wasn’t able to maintain this routine but mostly I did, it has served me well. That way I’m not overwhelmed by tackling all the kitchen at once. Thank you for today’s video. They are always helpful 😊
I put one silicone mat inside an empty paper towel tube, then wrap one around the outside of the tube, with a paper towel layered in to absorb any grease or dampness. Rubber band it on.
Enjoyed the video. It's amazing how clearing any amount out of a space really frees it up. Great decluttering.

54.7 I'm always amazed at the vast volume of stuff you have. Even though it's organized to the nth degree I can't see myself ever having the capacity to want to manage that much.
Your cabinets are lovely. While you have doors than drawers behind them I have big drawers. I thought it would make things easier to access. It hasn't really turned out that way. I still have to pull this out to get to that and I ended up with no where to keep cookie sheets, cutting boards, etc. I'm still motivated to head to the kitchen and see what I can declutter and rearrange. You are such a good motivator!! 😘 and hugs to Owen!!!

If you ever want to make zucchini noodles, there is an attachment for a KitchenAid stand mixer for spiralizing that is much easier to use than the plastic one you are throwing out. I had the same kind of spiralizer and was somewhat frustrated with it. My spiralizer attachment is more expensive, but worth it.

Great job on the decluttering. I like how you get rid of the matching lids even though they are still in good shape. My tendency is to hang on to them bc nothings wing with them. 😅 I'm trying to do better.
