      1. Just like you we are 200% more comfortable in English than in Hindi.
      2. But bankers in India hates to carry English to the comfort of their home.
      3. There are not many people like you who are serious to learn and afford to give dedicated time for our tutorials.

    Why is the interest towards CC limit not considered while working out DSCR?

    • @ShuddhDesiBanking
      @ShuddhDesiBanking  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      DSCR is used to measure whether the company will be able to repay the term loan from its cash earnings. Interest on working capital is meant to paid out from the sales realization and not from the profit.

      Interest on Term Loan (for all TL). Similarly Installment on Term Loan (all Term loan). The logic is Company should have enough cash to repay both Principle and interest of all the term loan.

    Sir how did you calculate the interest.. interest portion of monthly emi for 12 months or monthly interest on monthly balanced installment for 12 months.. pls clarify

    • @ShuddhDesiBanking
      @ShuddhDesiBanking  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Repayment terms can vary with different products of banks. If repayment term (for term loan) states EMI we have to consider the interest portion of EMI. You can use amortization schedules available in your bank.
      For business exposure of sizable amount there is no EMI. Repayment term generally states "Interest shall be paid on monthly basis or as and when due including moratorium period". In those cases it is easier to separate interest from principle. Of course I am talking about compound interest.
      Whatever might be the case here interest means interest that is likely to be paid by the company in one particular year.

  • @mohammedmuzibur1935
    @mohammedmuzibur1935 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    If DSCR is less than 1 for any year but the company has repaid principal n serviced interest.Can it be a case of diversion of short term fund towards loan repayment say Diversion of OD/CC to pay Loan installment

    • @ShuddhDesiBanking
      @ShuddhDesiBanking  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that might be the case. We often see happening that in branches. That will have a negative impact on the current ratio as well. In one hand CL is increased without addition of CA so definitely current ratio will go down.
      You are from which bank?

    • @mohammedmuzibur1935
      @mohammedmuzibur1935 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Further,If DSCR for any future year is less than 1, than should we ensure that the short fall is projected as USL/Long term funds of company for that particular year.

    • @ShuddhDesiBanking
      @ShuddhDesiBanking  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If DSCR is projected to be less than 1 for any year no need to break head doing analysis. Simply ask the company to revise the same. Less than 1 is not acceptable even while restructuring. It means company/ firm is declaring before hand that it will not have enough money to repay the loan in that year.
