This is one of the good Indian channels. Proud of you sir for creating such content. You are very good teacher for Indian people sir. Please don't stop what you are doing sir.
Your and very few others videos are the best way non finance person can learn. Books don't make sense. Also it's good quality provided free. 2 questions - A. In dscr u say tax should not be added and modified the formula. So can I modify icr to pat + interest whole divide by interest B. In dscr u said we have to find it company can easily pay principal for year and interest for year and explained it as 12 * EMI. But in Tata steel example u took total borrowings NOT borrowings payable per year. Thus contradicts. C. U took cash flow from financing activities as opposed to cash flow from investing activities. Could u mention types of financing activities and types of investing activities. Thanks in advance.

if cash credit account is there then what should we do, whether only interest component will be added or cash credit limit amount and interest will be added.
Sir, ur clarification on DSCR is excellent. Need to know, why interest part is in numerator & denomenator in dscr calculation? Seeking your clarification.
Numerator includes the total amount available to service debt obligation and interest is added back to arrive at total amount. Denominator is total outflow
Hi Mukul, I have a doubt. Repayment of borrowing in CFF may also include additional repayment component in case if there was a surplus. This can distort the ratio...am I right?

Dear Mukul Ji, Why financial institutes add the proposed obligations and proposed FCF too while calculating the DSCR for proposed term loan. I would request to please enlighten the reasons of such practice, interpretation of the same and understanding of same. Regards, Saurabh Vashishth
We are giving loan which will be repaid by future cash flows, as such understanding the future DSCR is very necessary. It is a tool to understand whether bank's funds will be repaid through the cash flows or not. Accordingly loan limit is set.
Total the CFADS over the life of the loan. Total the debt service over the loan life (i.e., sum of principal and interest) Divide the total CFADS over the sum of principal and interests
