Though the show is just plain silly sometimes, I like the message; not only that we can all be redeemed, but that we are all basically angels having the earth experience we should be grateful for. My old English Lit professor used to say there are only two themes in life and art, Love Theme and Work Theme. The leter is everything we do, including even war. The former is all we are, Love. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I loved all 6, although ... I would have included 4 more: 1.) The *SECOND* car scene where they discussed _"work";_ 2.) The scene in the penthouse that starts with Chloe's announcement that she's arrested Kinley and then ends with Lucifer's statement, _"Then I have my answer."_ Lucifer obviously felt *BETRAYED* and Chloe was a bit too prideful to *BEG* for his forgiveness. Yet she would spend the rest of the season trying to *EARN* it! (And we never learned why Chloe kept the _"vile vial"_ in her purse after calling off the betrayal with Kinley! In the final episode, Lucifer told Chloe that the *vial* had been stolen. She seemed surprised -- _"you _*_kept_*_ it?"_ _Yeah, Chloe, why did _*_YOU?)_* 3.) The scene where Chloe announces, _"I'm not afraid of you anymore. I was afraid of _*_LOSING_*_ you. Afraid that you'd forget about this place and that you'd forget about me."_ And then the sentence that gets interrupted where Chloe begins _"I luh..."_ She continues it in his penthouse, _"See ... this is what I meant. You can't leave me!"_ 4.) The scene where Lucifer and Chloe get back together after Caleb's murder. Chloe tells Lucifer that he's become a better man, and he replies, _"and that's what makes you so special - the fact that you see me that way."_ Chloe must be feeling really good right then, but then Lucifer adds, _"But I don't like the way that makes me feel, either."_ and then he walks out of his own bar, leaving Chloe all alone! She had worked so hard trying to make up for the betrayal and get back in Lucifer's good graces. She must have initially thought she had succeeded. Of course, the problem was that Eve admired his _"devilish"_ side and Chloe admired his _"better man"._ But he saw himself as *BOTH* and neither woman loved _"all"_ of him! (A cautionary tale for *ALL* relationships!) I would have left something out of this collection. So many episodes have a _"good"_ ending (almost), followed by something dreadful. In this case, it was the final scene of Lucifer on his throne, seemingly oblivious to how he left Chloe! For example, the episode where Chloe talked with Amenadiel about her father ... and then Lucifer announces that Eve is his _"girlfriend",_ and the wonderful _"piano duet"_ scene ... that was then followed by Amenadiel ordering Malcolm to execute Lucifer!
Let’s take a moment to appreciate how put together the description is. You can tell they put work into that.
This was so wonderful to watch. It showed how much Lucifer and Chloe loved each other. This is true love to the end.💙💙❤️❤️😍😍🔥🔥💋💋
