+Jeff Springer agreed the amoleds are a nice display , even my old note 4 , i turned up to a phone store a couple of months ago to get a tempered glass screen put on , ( i try to look after my gear) and the young girl behind the counter (Apple girl ) was very impressed with the vibrant colors, she couldnt stop looking at it, and on the spot said she was selling her apple device and getting a galaxy, i had a similar black background to what you did to the S7 and the icons just pop, on my note, even 16 months old the screen still looks amazing.
another good app for backgrounds and even ring tones is Zedge all are free from what i have seen and if you get ringtones you can set them to certain contacts or a default overall ringtone.

My wife's S7 is having problems with Bluetooth. It will play fine then start breaking up like it is loosing connection. We tried the same speaker on a S9 and had no problem. Is there a way to improve S7 performance?

+Joe Palacio that's a really tough question. I am personally keeping my Note 5 around as a daily driver ( as well as the S7 Edge) as I usually carry two phones. The S7 Edge is faster and better low light camera, but I really miss the S-Pen and larger screen whenever I leave my Note 5 at home and just carry smaller phones. If you don't use the S-Pen much or would like a slightly smaller screen I'd say S7 Edge is worth an upgrade for the micro SD support, better low light camera, better battery life, and water resistance.

Good tips... The fingerprint recognition (tip 1) sounds great. I don't have an S7 Edge (may get one), but I might try that tip on my iPhone 6 Plus, because believe it or not, it can get the fingerprint recognition wrong (I know that people think the iPhone FP recognition is never wrong, but it is sometimes).
i had a 5s and 6 both iphones had my fingerprint and i was able to unlock at which ever angle o wanted it too, but during the set up id move my fingers between scans to get the side of my fingers not just the tip or middle

ANOTHER TIP! On my S7 EDGE when setting up the finger print, I use BOTH my LEFT & RIGHT thumbs in 1 scan. 50% on 1 thumb, 50% on the other, this speeds the opening of the phone and you can use either thumb. I do the same with both index fingers, so 4 fingers only 2 slots.

+David Moreno I will definitely do that, but I can tell you both new S7 models are far superior to the S6 models. The Note 5 is on par with the S7 Edge for the most part, at least my Note 5 running Marshmallow is.
How much battery life does a dark theme really save? It's not like the bulk of your time using the phone is spent looking at the home screen or settings menu anyway. I doubt third party apps would get themed. But I'm asking for real, because I'm always looking for ways to improve battery life.
Launchers used to be preferable because they'd be seemingly faster for phone searching as opposed to default TouchWiz. However, now, that isn't so true after the Android Marshmellow update.

Hi, on my GS5 i had a widget where i could see active applications and turn them off. How do i get this on my GS7 Edge. Alloso, i used to click on the internet icon and click on privacy. There i could delete history, cookies, and all the other shit that is making my phone slower. On my GS7 Edge this is not working. I always have location turned off though but wifi and mobile networks on, location is the biggest battery drainer on any phone in my experience, i keep it off and toggle it on when i actually need it

hello guys ! i'm looking for a new phone but i can't decide which one to buy S7 edge or Iphone 6s 64gb ... I prefer the S7 because it looks better and has better camera and bigger battery life and more . The only think which the iphone does better is to play games,because IOS is super optimized for games . I'm not in the USA so here we have the exynos version of S7 . S7 Edge wins on every aspect of performance. You can also root the phone witb the Exynos version & give it further customization. But iPhone wins on stability & simplicity for its eco system & less pain in the ass when it comes to backup & restore.
+gc#r23 only in single core performance. When it comes to utilizing extra cores the S7 Edge absolutely obliterates the 6S+. But we can go all day about which is better, it all comes down to personal preference.
get which ever one you want tbh i switched from an iphone 6 to a galaxy s7 and i dont hate the switch but i dont love it either, its decent idont hate it so its prefrence, i did love the ios keyboard and experience iv been fooling with this phone. alot to make myself feel at home, after a while i do, but ios on my opinion is nicer, my iphone 6 and 5s (still own the 5s for gaming since all my stats are therr and i still love the iphone) reacted like a jailbroken iphone, fast, and looked like one. to be honest battery life sucks on both phones, but thr galaxy s7 does charge faster

Is there a way to improve the touch sensitivity? my touch sensitivity on my S7 EDGE is very low i heard people had the opposite problem from what i have, I dont know if others have this problem as well, i really gotta touch the display harder than normal, on my S5 i could hover a little bit above the display and still touch but here on my s7 edge i really gotta press a lot harder and make contact to make an touch... its realy frustrating, it could be an manufactor error, or an software change by Samsung, the touchscreen can be very inacurrate as well at times i cant even type correctly....
+๖ۣۜGhostTM I'm guessing it may be a hardware defect. I haven't had any issues on my touch sensitivity on the edge or the main screen. I'd see if you can get a warranty replacement from Samsung or carrier if you bought it a carrier store.
Jeff Springer I just tested the multi-touch of the s7 edge and mine can only do up to 2 Fingers! :O that has to be not normal because even the Galaxy S1 can do up to 10 fingers at the same time, there has to be an Touchscreen malfunction with my S7 edge :( luckily i have just 14 days to change my mind since i got it yesterday

I prefer the S7 because it looks better and has better camera and bigger battery life and more . The only think which the iphone does better is to play games,because IOS is super optimized for games . I'm not in the USA so here we have the exynos version of S7 . The only thing i want the most is my phone to last at least 2 years without slowing down and doing all kind of problems . So which one do you thing is better and will survive the long run ? In the store that i wanna buy the phone they are telling me that the customers report so much problems ...
S7 Edge wins on every aspect of performance. You can also root the phone witb the Exynos version & give it further customization. But iPhone wins on stability & simplicity for its eco system & less pain in the ass when it comes to backup & restore.

get which ever one you want tbh i switched from an iphone 6 to a galaxy s7 and i dont hate the switch but i dont love it either, its decent idont hate it so its prefrence, i did love the ios keyboard and experience iv been fooling with this phone. alot to make myself feel at home, after a while i do, but ios on my opinion is nicer, my iphone 6 and 5s (still own the 5s for gaming since all my stats are therr and i still love the iphone) reacted like a jailbroken iphone, fast, and looked like one. to be honest battery life sucks on both phones, but thr galaxy s7 does charge faster

Can you use fingerprint also for Exchange Mail security(for ppl on work)? In the past you needed to use an pin if it didnt had a fingerprint sensor
+Oxizee Yes Exchange does offer the option to use fingerprint for security, however your administrator at work has the option to restrict this and only allow pin or password, so it will depend on where you work option is enabled for you in particular. Thanks for checking out the video!

Is there a way to improve the touch sensitivity? my touch sensitivity on my S7 EDGE is very low i heard people had the opposite problem from what i have, I dont know if others have this problem as well, i really gotta touch the display harder than normal, on my S5 i could hover a little bit above the display and still touch but here on my s7 edge i really gotta press a lot harder and make contact to make an touch... its realy frustrating, it could be an manufactor error, or an software change by Samsung, the touchscreen can be very inacurrate as well at times i cant even type correctly....
+๖ۣۜGhostTM I'm guessing it may be a hardware defect. I haven't had any issues on my touch sensitivity on the edge or the main screen. I'd see if you can get a warranty replacement from Samsung or carrier if you bought it a carrier store.

I just tested the multi-touch of the s7 edge and mine can only do up to 2 Fingers! :O that has to be not normal because even the Galaxy S1 can do up to 10 fingers at the same time, there has to be an Touchscreen malfunction with my S7 edge :( luckily i have just 14 days to change my mind since i got it yesterday

They're different by carrier. AT&T likes to "categorize" them based on what they think you want.
Root it and theme it.
Maybe a Launcher like Nova can do it if you don't want to root.

I tried the hide content on lock screen option but it then only shows that i have a new message and no details at all. Ideally I would like to see the contact's name but no content displayed.
