Looking good Brian. Hope youre feeling better. Stay safe Edit: Don't know if you remember... but December about two years ago, you gave me a call while I was actually workign at my day job. We talked for a bit, I asked you questions about how to get my business off the ground. Well... That same year I quit my job and went full time. This will be my third year, and already projected to do 6 figure profit this year! Your videos helped me a lot starting out. Keep it up brother.
I've done the same to my Trailer even went under the trailer and painted the floor and caulked around frame lol . Looks great and protects your investment , nice job buddy 👌 👍 😀.
Nice job ....I used Kilz latex paint primer for my first coat. It really helps resist moisture, and the paint covers much better, with just one coat :)
Glad to see you feeling good. Walls look great for now.. I think in the long run it's going to really show the wear and tear.. We carry a lot of attachments for the power heads and hang them by the S hooks echo supplies and they swing side to side on wall along with our pole saws and stuff. I am going to do the epoxy on the floor though for sure but too cold up here in Michigan for that right now.. keep up the good work
BRIAN XXX XXX When you do epoxy on the floor do a clear over top and silica sand or you will find it chipping and wearing easy... I did my own stuff 10 years ago and I learnt allot from the pros .... light scuff the floor make sure no grease. Then do your colour floor and throw on some flakes... vacuum up loose flakes next day. Most important part .... clear coat the whole floor over the colour and flakes . , clear coat it with an clear epoxy rustoleam make one that's what I used but add In the silica sand or it will be Ice with any moisture and you will hate it.... More silica sand the better..... mix it several times as you go as it sinks....
@@TopNotchLawns No problem do about 6 inch up on the walls and then you protect the corner edge allowing you to wash the trailer out.... a trick I learn from the pros.. you must do at least 1 top coat prev 2. Rust have one but some better ones online clear diamond and many others just make sure you mix silica sand or it will be like glass and you will hate it.
It looks good with the white walls! Spencer’s lawn care used a product like the rustoleum one you’re doing on a shed floor. They had to use more than the sq ft the box said it covered because the wood soaked up a lot of it. May not be an issue since your floor already has some type of paint on it already. Sounds like you’re feeling good still.
@@codymaupin5 I use grey porch paint, with the sand grit added in. Usually two coats. Then I add non skid tape to the ramp door. The paint holds of pretty good. And it’s easy to touch up between seasons if needed. I paint the floor to protect it from the moisture, the appearance is secondary.
Looks great! Makes everything look larger. We had to paint a floor in one of the shop classes with those chips. Nightmare! We had to paint the floor and while wet had to spread the chips.. then go over with more paint. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation! Glad you’re feeling better!
Looks good. Just got a new 8.5x16 and thinking of doing white walls with grey or black rhino sealer on the floor. The white walls make the trailer feel even more spacious but thinking in terms of it staying dirty when I start rolling lawn equipment in and out.
Hey Brian thought about using behr deck over from home depot? The textured finish. I have it on my front deck even wet I never slip. Just a thought. Glad to seeing u do so well even with covid.
Brian I wanted to do this last year when I bought my trailer and season jet so crazy I'm hoping to be able to do it this spring before I get going hope you're feeling better
When you do the epoxy. There is also a non slip additive. Would highly suggest that. I think it’s basically like adding some sand to the epoxy. I say this because I did the epoxy in my garage. And it is very slippery when wet. Thanks for the videos. HI from Gardner KS
Great video Brian, before I would have used the epoxy in the trailer I would have used a junk piece of plywood to see if I liked it or not and then do the trailer! I left my trailer as the plywood but I know many people have painted there’s! If you really want to outside of your trailer to shine and pop going down the road you should get it ceramic coated it is also easier to clean especially since your trailer is black!
Looks good, certainly a sensible option to try to brighten it as much as you can where it is enclosed. I’m wondering about the mounting of your racks etc. Are there studs or will you be using some serious anchors? Stay safe and have a speedy recovery!
Looking good. Gotta be careful what kind of paint you put on the ramp. I’ve seen people paint them and they become super slippery. How’s the new truck?
Ytailer looks great...I saw your pull behind compressor back in the corner and assume that you use it for winterizing irrigation systems. Curious...have you ever used the blazing fast fittings? Couplers, elbows, etc? I have used the saddles but I have never used any of their other fittings and and looking for some feedback on them. Thank you!
Hey, I appreciate you for sharing what you’re doing once suggestion is getting your painters, knife and bunting it up against the sides that you don’t want to hit and getting out a 3 inch roller and dipping it into a trough with paint and with a big Painter knife acting like a mask you won’t have to tape a bunch of stuff off. You can just roll it quick. Even your corners load up the edges on that Roller it’ll dip way into those boards so essentially I’m trying to tell you you wasted your time and probably an entire day going around with a 2 1/2 inch paintbrush on the corners you should smack yourself in the forehead, but hindsight always 2020 and observing this video gave me the insight what not to do so I appreciate observing your misery, not becoming mine.
Looks good. I doubt you will want to be in there filming much in the summer. Those things get VERY hot in the summer...especially being black. Looks like you are kicking COvid's butt~!
I thought of that as I was doing this also. Although, I'm not doing that by hand. I might do that this spring when I paint my house since I plan on buying a sprayer.

The V-nose makes a great location for a workbench.

Should line the ramp with a 1/4" rubber mat to protect it from the mowers. It will also help with traction when wet.

What kind of trailer is this I just picked up a Sparta 2023 enclosed trailer 8ft wide by 16 long I think this looks like mine a bit
Looks amazing ! Did you not want to paint side door? Looks good the way you did it just wondering if you have other plans for it lol?
I actually thought about staining it, but I'm not sure what to so with it.
Might want to go up a foot on the walls with the Epoxy if you can so you can protect the bottom of the wall from moisture.
You can go over their silicone caulk with some white silicone caulk. Should look good.
👍👍
That color would look good on the inside of your shed where you've been doing all your filming lately.

Wouldn't an exterior paint hold up better to the use and moisture exposure?
