    One of the few Warning breakup songs about real life. This was about a friend who betrayed Pau. I have a t-shirt with “If karma doesn’t hit you I will!” Ale and Pau have said that they joke with each other on stage and call each other out when they mess up.

    Dany (guitar) works hard to get the emotion correct that Pau (drums) was experiencing when she wrote this song... it is about a childhood friendship breaking up...
    basically the story is that someone said something like, "come hang out with us. that band thing won't go anywhere. why are you wasting your time?" well, you can imagine how that went over... TWA like to joke that the moral of the story is "Don't upset Pau or you may be memorialized in a song" 😹
    there is also an animated cartoon OMV of *Animosity* ... it was done by WEBTOON, a South Korean digital comic platform, with the digital comic "I am the Grim Reaper" written/developed by GraveWeaver... there are videos of DPA/TW and GraveWeaver each seeing it for the first time and one of all of them talking about it and hanging on a zoom(?) call... all four of those videos are fun to watch 😜

    You don't need to skip songs from the Queen of the Murder Scene album. TW plays songs individually from the album in concerts without playing the entire album so you don't hav to listen to the songs in order either. If you want to do an analysis of the QOTMS album itself, then yes, listen to the album in order.
    You aren't going to ruin anything by listening to the songs individually outside of the album, but realize the lyrics fit the narrative of a fictional story.
    TW played the song "Dull Knives" from QOTMS album for the virtual charity concert DeTour August of 2020. Lzzy Hale of the bad Halestorm saw the performance and took them on tour for nearly 40 shows in 2022. She had never heard the song before and didn't even know who The Warning were. Not knowing the narrative of the song or the QOTMS album didn't ruin anything for Lzzy Hale. Don't get caught up skipping those songs before listening to the album.
    Radio stations don't play the entire The Wall album if they want play Another Brick in the Wall song.

      No shade taken! I've played/sang for about the same amount of time, and while I can do some pretty complicated fingerpicking on the acoustic while singing, playing rock riffs is something that is much more challenging for whatever reason. When I look back at most classic rock songs with challenging riffs to play, the singing tends to be between the riffs, not during, so huge kudos to her

    Good idea to skip QOTMS, but there are other spoilers of the full album in this concert, like Ugh, Dull Knives, Dust to Dust and Hunter 😉
    But there's nothing wrong in coming back to them when you do the full album reaction (I guess you already have been suggested the Lunario concert, where they played it entirely). The stage is much smaller, they were way younger (13 for Ale), so the experience will be different either way

I would say go ahead and do all the songs of this concert in order, then go back and play the studio versions of the QOTMS album in order or do the live versions from Lunario, which was the first concert they did to perform all the songs of then then new second album. I like that you want to analyze the lyrics, I just wish you would do that on round two of listening to the song... I've never been able to understand how people can decide whether they like a song or not without hearing the whole thing through first. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm old, we never had lyrics unless you actually owned the album or your friend did. To me the musical part is always been far more important than the lyrics part. Just my two cents, I know everyone is different. But if this is how they're all going to be I probably won't be watching

      @DadDaughtersandDrinks  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I understand your point, and I'm glad you watched at least one song. Likely they're all going to be this way (or at least close). My goal in reacting isn't to decide if I like a song or not - if I wanted to do that and really be sure, I'd have to listen to the song a lot more than once. In fact, many of my favorite songs are songs I didn't even really like the first (or second or third) time through. My goal is to just to react to what I'm feeling and thinking at the moment - a true "reaction". Many reactors do wait until the end, I'm just not one of them, and that's just personal preference. I actually do not like watching reactors that sit through the song and then just chat at the end, which is probably why I react the way I do. But again, I know it's all personal preference and there are certainly no hard feelings on my part if my style isn't what you are looking for.
