I found a recording of the best audio and another of the best video from this performance and put them together. This is the first time "Breathe" has been performed to the public on October 28, 2023 at Pepsi Center CDMX.

She did this for the fans that showed up. The fans showed up. Think about what just happened here. 8000 people started singing, then even though she stopped them, they still stepped up in her last minute of need. Her hands in her face, said it all. Good people attract good people. The Warning family; Y'all are good people.
I do not watch this one very often. I am a 59 years old man and she makes me cry every time. It's like my daughter on stage and it simply breaks my heart but in a good way.

I heard this song on the Error cd last night, but first time I REALLY paid attention to it, and realized how beautiful it really is. I listened to again today, and started tearing up, bad part was I was at work & had to stifle the tears best I could. Now seeing the live version at home it happened again, but there's no one around to see me. 🥲 I'm a couple years older than you, and still get emotional when I hear a beautiful emotional piece of music.
I've said this elsewhere, but I'll keep repeating it because this song has touched so deeply. I have suffered from sometimes debilitating depression and suicidal thoughts all my life (thoughts, but never attempted), though i have learned to handle it much better than I did when I was young.
This is the first time I've ever heard words that perfectly describe what it feels like when the depression starts to overwhelm me. I cried for an hour the first time I heard it, I bawled like a baby when i saw this live performance. Cried, because I could finally show people how I felt, and I feel like a weight has been lifted. I cannot express how grateful I am to this precious young woman for gifting me that, it is a debt I can never repay.
She truly is so very special.
I heard this for the first time last night and instantly picked up my guitar to learn the chords.
It hit me like a tonne of bricks. So few songs can express what depression/anxiety is, this is a perfect example while also being a simply beautiful song.

Such an authentically beautiful moment. She's genuinely overwhelmed people are singing this song with her. Her and her wonderful sisters need to be protected at all costs, because we love them too.
I literally think the same thing! I have asked many times that the universe, creator, ancestors, keep them safe and healthy and happy. They’re truly special souls and what they’re doing is so special in itself. 🙏🏽🖤💜🧡

@@terryandrews7271 I remember a performance where Myles Kennedy shared a story from his youth to a crowd of fans about how he got started. He told the crowd that he was playing with friends as a child and his mother pulled him aside and introduced him to music. He said she told something like I want you to have an opportunity that I did not have when I was child. And thus, the great Myles Kennedy as we know him today was born. I believe he dedicated My Champion to his mother. It was a very long time ago I saw that perfomance, so I might be mis-remembering some of the details.
Was she brought to tears because of crowd or perhaps because of her memories?
@@elah1023 Both - as she started to 'choke up' emotionally, the crowd's voices rose to show she wasn't alone, and that caused the end reaction - the tears, the smile. And it is that relationship between an artist and their crowd that truly shines here, and shows how much regard Paulina and her sisters are held.
I have seen a lot. But this is the most honest and breathtaking perfomance I've ever seen. My tears are rolling.
I've never seen so much emotion while performing a song. Being sick, and yet to sing so beautiful, and to be unable to finish because 8000 of your friends send you all their love and emotions... this is beyond words...

Pau always seems surprised that the crowd knows her songs, word-for-word. Emotional performance for her. It was hard for her to see the keyboard through the tears. And can we talk about that piano. It has a weird raised keyboard which from other viewing angles, including their sound check, seems to be electronic. I believe this piano was converted into a hybrid, using an electronic device adapted to drive the levers and hammers of a conventional grand piano. I've never seen one of those before. Interesting. Obviously, it had no impact on the sound quality. There are digital grand pianos but from the outside they appear to be like a conventional piano and they sound great. I've just never seen something like looks like a retrofitted keyboard.
Just a digital keyboard fitted into the grand piano with the regular keyboard removed. No retro-fitting, the acoustic parts of the piano are just not used. Makes it look great, and removes any need for mics (which is how they could move it in and out so fast). Direct feed to the soundboard (probably by a wireless pack just like all their instruments and mics,so no wires needed at all). This is super common in large (non-classical) concerts these days. And afterwords, put the mechanical keyboard back in (a 10 min job) and the traditional piano is back in service.

This teared the rest of my hart apart.
I will never forget that October 28th because I lost one of my beloved pets that same day after one week trying to bring her back from terrible health conditions and having to sell my tickets due to her treatment expenses.
So I could have been there but that night I had to go to work instead to get some more money.
I knew I wouln't enjoy that concert as I wished anyways.
Now after seeing how Pau could open her heart to sing a song that is so painful to her in front of 8 thousand souls, I'm able to find that courage to go through this. Thank you Paulina for healing so many hearts apart from yours!!

Thank you for putting this together. I recently saw them at a small venue in Canada and was very happy that I got to see them then. I figured that by the time I next saw them it would be in a large venue and wouldn't be as intimate. But here we see that they give almost their most intimate performance when they are in front of their largest crowds! How do they do that? Is it the authenticity that keeps them so connected to the people in front of them no matter how big the crowd? Maybe because they've grown up in public? I don't know but I'm always impressed by them.

Let me point out a little detail: when Pau wipes her tear away, the movement of her arm and hand is absolutely graceful... but she's the same musician who smahes the drums while crying the rebirth "grito" with her throat pointed to the sky. That soul is a huge mine of emotions of all kinds!!!

Grandes artistas, su música emociona, nos sitúa en un estado emocional cual fuere que sea, y cuando se logra transmitir eso al publico no queda mas que levantarse del asiento y aplaudir, yo creo que a nivel artístico el mexicano siente y transmite eso que tiene en el corazón, ya lo dijo alguna vez Guillermo del Toro cuando le preguntaron como tenia esa habilidad para encontrar ese balance entre el lado oscuro de la naturaleza humana pero tambien la parte alegre y amorosa y el respondió "I´am mexican"... lo anterior reafirma mi idea que un mexicano no nace donde se le da la gana, un mexicano nace en México y punto.

Pau has not discussed any details about this song in public as far as I know. The Warning has used drowning/choking as metaphors in their lyrics in the past, so there's a good chance that figurative language is being used in this song as well.
