I will say, an album can be beautiful and make you feel all kind of emotions but still be missing something on production quality terms or can still feel unfinished cohesion wise. That being said, a 7/10 album that moves you emotionally still probably deserves to be in a different category than a 9/10 that's just poppy and light

Best album of the year, and it's not even close. This album is a masterpiece, from production, to songwriting, impact, delivery and actual story line and content. Like Joey really just made a better tape than my personal top 5 has in the last couple years.

I guess he's trying to be objective in his reviews if that's the case. The problem is, when it comes to music you can never be truly objective. It's always a subjective matter, and regardless of attempts to correct your bias, you will never get to a fully unbiased stance on any creation. I wish more critics would just lay their feelings on the table instead of trying to reach a percieved level of professionalism

Never listened to his music, I only know him as Leon in Mr. Robot. Both in the show as in here, he looks so geniuine, funny and chill.
I guess he's trying to be objective in his reviews if that's the case. The problem is, when it comes to music you can never be truly objective. It's always a subjective matter, and regardless of attempts to correct your bias, you will never get to a fully unbiased stance on any creation. I wish more critics would just lay their feelings on the table instead of trying to reach a percieved level of professionalism
