I actually did it! Complete presence. I was sitting in immense emotional pain and knew I could not survive anymore of it. I just had to put myself into presence to survive and it happened! It’s true that pain gets you to a point where you must become present. I will keep using the pain over and over to push me into the now. That or die.

what might not be apparent at first glance tho is his strength,
it dawned on me a while back while watching one of his videos,
the peace he has is one with fear-less-ness,
can you see it? that he is not afraid?
the only safe place ive ever known was when i felt closest to god.

It does feel loving tho doesn’t it. Love seems like an emotion or state of mind to us, or me. So it gets confusing to say we are love, but I know exactly what you mean when you say it. The presence that we are is so accepting it’s unlike anything we have felt from another human. So complete and whole without any need for words or communication. Just being there, you understand that this is all you need to understand, which is almost nothing. 🤷‍♀️

I have been in self-imposed isolation for 18 years trying to achieve spiritual mastery. Meditation and stillness has always eluded me. Eckhart you are the first that has been able to teach me and it's because you keep it so simple. Now all I have to think about to achieve stillness is to think of you and I'm immediately there. I can't say that about any other teacher and I've listened to all the most popular ones, there's a lot of them.
I Am exactly where I Am supposed to be and I can be still. That's all I need.
Thank you Eckhart and Brightest Blessings to all.

So inspiring and essential to know. In the Christ church I was never thought this how to deny myself, now it is clear. And so simple, it is a disaster that dont t teach about so essential and important things, how to live and behave all different things....rites are so important, that I couldnt hardly breath of so much engaging and following instructions.....So simple, important and the most essential things I am now learning from Eckhart, listening many times. Couldnt believe is so simple, but so liberating! Oh, my God! Thanks to Eckhart. If you learn five minutes before death is better to know than only blindly follow the rites....

Thank you, I appreciate your insights and soulful way of teaching. You drive home the points in a way that makes them stick in the memory, thus coming to mind as situations arise, leading the way in my personal evolution of consciousness by the willful recall of areas that I am working on. This really does help me to differentiate between the conditioning of my programmed mind, my unconscious thoughts and my still, alert mind of spaciousness, which is really 'me' - the spirit that I am, my eternal consciousness . You are a brilliant instructor, thank you for doing this work. May you have as much delight in your work, as we do from learning from you. Know you are oh so very much appreciated, kind sir.

And you can visualize the thoughts then coming up in the mind (the patterns eyes closed), or out like a valve relief. :D

Why is there anxiety when I consider the conditioned self as false? Is it the sense of not knowing who I am? Or the sense of not existing? Dying to self feels like suicide. Even though I hypothetically welcome it due to suffering as 'self'. 'Being' means loss. Loss of all the unfinished business. Being present seems blank. Perhaps I fear being bored. Perhaps I fear the idea of believing a lie all my life. Perhaps Im attached to being a victim. Attached to self protection. To vengeance. Compensation. Justice. Resolution. Healing. Acceptance of 'self'. Release from victimhood. A better version of 'self'.... Letting go of hope. All for what? Freedom from my'self'? Abandonment of my'self'? Freedom from My 'self'? Its still my conditioned self - my form identity. Ego. A ghost self.

It seems, these teaching often advise that thinking is somewhat an enemy of awakening. And if thinking takes you away from awareness, takes you ‘miles away’ as people often lost in thought will say ‘sorry what did you say? I was miles away’.
If, thinking, obscures or diverts somehow the presence, then the teaching advise to observe without thinking is reasonable.
Ego, is made of thought, therefore thinking, takes you towards ego and away from presence.
But, thoughts are just subtle forms, compared to the perception of a wooden door, that is a gross form, we could say.
But, really, if you are established in the true self, all forms can exist, be there, without any affect on the truly recognised self.
I see no problem with thinking, perceptions, sensations, thoughts, these are all just forms, with an apparent substance.
If you can perceive and experience sensations without losing presence, then thinking should not be a problem.
The problem is when thinking takes you away from your true self, and back into the ego, which is made of thought.
So I do not entirely agree with this teaching, and it is apparent that Eckhart acknowledges this, but maybe that jump is too big for those in the first stages of self realisation.
Better not to think, in this case, I agree.
But ultimately, we should remain present, be presence, regardless of the presence of form, gross or subtle.
So, thinking, contemplating, is fine, as long as you remain established as the formless unconditioned self, not lost in thought, but thoughts are seen and experienced as any other form, from the formless self you are and always have been.
Then nothing can come into the screen of awareness, nothing in terms of life circumstances or forms of any nature, including thoughts, these are all recognised and the power to eclipse pure awareness is not possible.
Thinking, like all other forms, can occur in the complete presence of awareness, when all forms, including thinking, appear in the complete presence of awareness, then you are free.
I suspect thinking would subside, but that is just a side affect, thoughts or not, perceptions or not, sensations or not, these are all non threatening, for they are seen clearly for what they are, from a place of truth, which is you.
