A few years ago I bought a second hand 2008 Corolla. When I checked the cabin air filter it was obvious the previous owner had not changed it. It was chock full of leaves, Maple keys and dirt. It was all on the TOP of the filter, indicating air flow from top the bottom. So this video is wrong.
So the air flows from bottom to top? I have a 2008 corolla. And i thought the air flowed from top to bottom. Can you please explain.
This video is wrong, and you are correct. The airflow goes from top to bottom.
so then which is the RIGHT way to install the filter.. Now I am confused about that and the clips on the tray?
Video is incorrect airflow is downwards hence debri collects on the top of filter.
Up is up. Air flow is down.

problem I have with mine is NO airflow whatso ever on the passenger side.. drivers side gets ALL the airflow.. hopefully this fixes my problem?
Did any one else think this dude was asian at first.. I was a lil confused when i saw he wasnt asian at all
