- It's been Beau Martonik's lifelong dream to hunt moose in the vast Alaska wilderness. In September of 2023, him and his buddy, Ethan Demi, did just that. They were dropped off for 14 days in the bush for an epic adventure.

Good choice man. So many people come here and get excited pull the trigger and leave with a violation. What a time though. They say that Alaska teaches you that when you can just except the beauty without the pressure of success then you become successful.
Very well put! I look forward to coming back someday!
You nailed it again keep telling an showing us the story
Great Job, Beau! Excellent film!
Thanks Jason!!
Great film, Beau. That was sick, man. What a hunt!
Thanks Chango!
Great narration and video shoot, and edit. Nice work!
This is one that's definitely on the bucket list. Just got done with ten days of fishing up there can't wait to get back.
That's awesome, I bet that fishing trip was fun!! Hope you get a chance to go back up hunting.
Awesome hunt- looks like an incredible experience!
Thanks man! It sure was!
What a great film! Gives off meat eater vibes with the narration. Hopefully you get your chance to get back after it ! Looking forward to seeing more films like this !
Thanks Garrett! I have another one releasing this Sunday!
Good stuff.
As a Alaska resident I enjoyed watching your video as it captured the fullness of the Alaskan bush. Even though I don't particularly like moose hunting as much as others like caribou it brang me immense joy watching your video
another great film, beau. keep it up!
Much appreciated!
Love it Beau! Great hunt and great film.
Thanks Zach!
Memories don’t always end with a harvest, great video. Hopefully to return in a shot for redemption in the future
Thank you!!
So very close on punching a tag 🏷️ on what is a dream bucket 🪣 list hunt for most. I remember watching the podcast episode and hearing about how close you two were. Hopefully 🙏 you get another chance. Those two regulations are tough for non residents but I can see why it’s that way.
Thanks 🙏 for sharing this with us Beau. 😃
Thanks Forrest, always appreciate you!
@@BeauMartonik you are quite welcome 🙏 and I am glad to give you some feedback often 😃🏹🦌
Great film! Nicely done.
Thanks Steven!
Great Video. My Uncle Ed Kania, of British Columbia, was a world famous hunting-trapper guide. Wish I'd did some Moose & Mountain Goat hunting with him, the time I was offered the chance.
What an opportunity. Great film
Thank you!!
Great film, Beau!
Thanks Joey!
Awesome video dude, keep up the good work 💪
Thanks Adam!
Great film, man!
Thanks Justin!
Great film! Leaving for my first ever sheep hunt with the bow Monday. I can price cheat, got a brother that lives up in Alaska.
Epic video
Thanks Shane!
Beau makes wearing Sitka so much less douchey.
Check out Sixsite hunting clothing and T&K hunting gear. Hands down the best stuff out there
Haha, thank you!!
Very true
Different flavor of douch but still foul
Well done boys , and great call on that bull. He’s around 46-47.
Thank you! So hard to tell!
@@BeauMartonik it is but when they are close it’s better to play caution. Means you get to go back and live it all again.
I look forward to that video.
@@JAWZOZ I told myself I wasn’t shooting anything under what I thought was 55”+ to account for a margin of error. I will definitely be back at some point. Incredible experience!
Great film
Thanks Nick!!
Nice job on the video.
Appreciate it, Shawn!
Wow that took some serious effort to hold off…. I’m no expert but I thought he was legal. Well done for letting him walk
Fantastic!!! Beautiful video throughout. That bull coming alllllll the way in. Ugghhh my gosh that had to hurt brother. But it's better than never happening at all for sure. Can I ask, how long did it take him to trek that 1400 yards?? I imagine most of the day?? Or was it pretty quick??
Thank you very much! Honestly, the bull cut that distance pretty dang quick. I feel like it was maybe an hour or a little longer?
What Jack O'connor book were you reading?
What measurement tool on your phone are you talking about? I’d say that moose was around 45 inches so you made the right choice in my opinion
I took a screenshot of the video of the bull through my phoneskope where he was looking straight at me, then iphone has this ruler you can add in editing. The ruler doesn't actually measure it, but I took somewhat known measurements like eye to eye, and saw where that was on the ruler, and then took that by how many times that distance made up the entire width. Not sure if that makes sense, but it's a very redneck way of doing it. Haha
@@BeauMartonik yeah I do the eye to eye trick also. I highly disagree with the 50” 4 brow tines rule though. That means all the moose with the best genes are being taken out right before the rut. Eventually Alaska will not have a moose that reaches 50” or 4 brow tines because we eliminated them. Just like the full curl, 8 yr old ram law. It’s destroying the genetics. Also the rams rely on the older rams to get them through the winters. Guides kill every legal ram in there areas every year and that is what is causing the massive die offs in winter. It’s not climate change. The climate has not changed in Alaska. It goes in 10 yr cycles and we are getting towards the end of one of the ten yr cycles of our wet seasons and bad bug cycles.
Great hunt, story, filming, editing - well done fellas! Our first AK Arctic moose hunt was the same. We called a nice bull within 50 yards and he was either 51" or 49" - but what an experience! Film is on our page if interested. I just subscribed and will be watching more.
Thank you! Man, I can feel your pain there with not being able to know if it's legal... I will check out your video!
Coming back this year?
👍👍😁😁
Would love to get these guys out here to Africa with us . Does anyone know how we could get a hold of them???
Come to Africa, guys, please!!!
Reply me for info
Great film and great video man, good choice on not shooting. You guys are great hunters, and this isnt keyboard warrior or hunter stuff here just a little tip, practice more long drawn out nasly cow calls rather than bull grunts, until you have one... There really wondering listening for those long cow moans. Great hunt regardless and solid effort.
good lord in the first 2 minutes I have seen at least 4 ads....
I didn’t get a single ad.
Sucks when you have to suffer through extraordinary inconvenience for free entertainment. Its tough out there.
Inside of bulls palms were barely outside the years not even laying flat. Probably 48” max. Great choice leaving em, so many morons shoot first unfortunately.
51” 😅
That’s was definitely 50”
And you would’ve definitely poached a bull. Inside of palms are hardly outside the ears, that bull is 48” max.
Very well done. Good stuff Beau!!
Thanks Allie!!!
