It’s funny how you think Hughies mom isn’t real but you haven’t mentioned Kessler. No one has interacted with him but butcher who we know is seeing things. He could have a devil and angel on his shoulder with Kessler and becka
That's exactly what's going on and they are oblivious or ignoring it on purpose for some reason lol
I'm even more convinced after the ending of this episode. When Butcher said "we" and looked at Joe, the doctor seemed confused
Actually Newman’s Daughter’s father looked toward Kessler when butcher was talking.
They’ve def mentioned Kessler before
Kessler is a given lol
Giancarlo Esposito's and Simon Pegg's performances were the highlights of this episode
I like that we got to see some emotional depth from the actress who plays Newman too
Pretty good ep for the dads here
Stan Edgar is such a badass
@@frogurtcremebrulee5252 Not Zoe's lol
Hughies dad storyline is getting good idk where they go now with him and his mom
Simon Peggs performance was tragically sad and it was beautifully captured. Had me in tears at the very end of it.
It did 😢 like his dad just left him so suddenly 😢 I know the feeling in real life
He's always been a great comedic actor but he really blew me away with his dramatic performance in this.
I could barely function after this scene, the neighbors could probably hear me 😭😭😭
His last words were “Tom Hanks”. I can only hope my last words are that meaningful and poetic.
@@therumjiggler6879 I turned to my wife saying, "His last words were Tom Hanks." It's a little bit of levity in a heavy story line that hit hardest last week.
MM having Biggie, Tupac, Hampton, MLK, and Malcom X on his wall is terrifying, please for the love of god don't be foreshadowing
Oh wow I didn't even think of that
he'll probably die because his phone number was the one that contacted Atrain
The next martyr
And he may be sick irl. That’s why he lost weight
@@chazzdozier2150They mean he's gonna be shot.
I loved the line "Projectile Dysfunction"
And the punch 😂
Hughie Sr. first accidental kill is a nod to the first kill of Hughie in the comics when he punches a supe through his heart.
TEK-Knight also says “It’s been a year, so it’s time for a reboot!”
A w-hole year
Every line Kessler says is literally Butcher’s deep fears and dark thoughts being spoken. It’s like him and Becca are the Angel and Devil on Butcher’s soldiers manifesting through the Compound V
No it’s not. He’s in the comics. He’s definitely he’s own character
Hughies dads whole arc this ep broke my heart
He deserved better
@@dynaguy6970yep . That really upset me . Wasn’t expecting to cry but I did.
The look on sage face shows why lex luthor struggles working with the joker. Everyone has a plan until pure chaos walks into the room
We saw that one tweet buddy word for word is brazy😂
@@9000yuhI was gonna say this looks oddly familiar 😂
Sage ain't lex luthor lex ain't afraid of superman but sage clearly fears homelander
@@andrewmarsjr9879 Superman gives no one reason to be afraid. He is good.
@@xNirex44 he is scary all it take is one bad day to turn you
I think Kessler is 1000% a hallucination
Yeah. He never interacts with anyone else. He's like the devil on Butcher's shoulder, while Becca is the angel.
@@joeblankenship377 precisely what I was thinking
Then how did he kill Ezekiel
@@gray0820 how is that remotely related?
Kessler is the infection talking to butcher
You can see Sameer running off the the side and Butcher chasing him when they leave the barn. Nice detail
Wow, that's cool!
Sameer's reaction to Billy looking at Joe confirmed to me that Joe is either a hallucination or the parasite in him.
I'm assuming the rabbit has the same parasites that Billy has saved which is probably why Billy let it go
And the worms coming out of the rabbit could of been what happened to him when Ezekiel was ripped apart
But how did butcher cut his leg off, hide him where the secret service couldn’t find him and where Neuman couldn’t detect his blood, plant the leg in the woods, and return before his leg bled out?
I can’t believe we got a Mandalorian reunion between Moff Gideon and Dr. Pershing in the Boys of all places.
Ha. Didn’t catch that until now…
I especially love the Supernatural reunion even though the characters never interacted in this😢
Giancarlo Esposito is the absolute GOAT, steals every scene he’s in. Dang near cheered when Butcher and M.M. busted him out of jail lol!
There is theory that Kessler is a hallucination. What if butcher is talking to mental projection of the parasite like how eddy Brock talks to symbiote
Oooh that’s a good thought
Why would the tumor want to make something that can kill it with the virus? It kills things that have compound v in them.
This is too smart for american audience c’mon
Also we see tentacles coming out of the rabbit that probably got the same side effects Billy has from getting compound V
The worms in Billy's body might eventually grow bigger and that's what killed Ezekiel more than likely
It's why he saved it more than likey
The only time they interact without being just the 2 of them is at the end with Sameer and it looks like he doesn't understand why Butcher look at the door frame (where Kessler stands)
Diabolical means everything. We are 4 seasons in and by now it should be noted its Billys catchphrase
I took the whole rabbit thing a little differently. I took it as he did let it go cuz he wanted to, sweet moment, cute animal etc. But when he saw it dead he kinda snapped because he tried to do the right thing or have a good moment you know. But it definitely made sense that it would piss him off if that’s how he’s gonna die
So butcher absolutely has Venom-like powers. That’s how he killed Ezekiel, with the tentacles.
Yeah when he sees that rabbit dead, it definitely seemed like those tentacles sensed it inside him and was like reaching out to him
When did Butcher have time to kidnap Samir without anyone noticing?!?
maybe he grabbed samir and ran into the woods while the sheep where all falling and tied him up and took the leg back into the barn and when they ask him where he had been he claimed to be running away idk
It was honestly unclear
And cut this leg off 😭
When he blacked out again.
When they was escaping the barn they splits into 3 groups, one of group was only Butcher and Samir
I definitely think after this episode. Hughie's Mom, being a hallucination theory, is dead in the water. BUT i have hopped on the Kessler is a hallucination theory train after this episode after i noticed that only Butcher has ever talked to and interacted with him. Hell, anytime we see Kessler. Hes never doing something that proves he is real. He just appears and follows Butcher. And we already know Butcher is hallucinating Becka. Whos to say Kessler isnt another?
Of course Butcher saying “diabolical” means nothing. He’s said it multiple times throughout the series. Pretty sure he said it before Diabolical released
I think it was called Diabolical because Butcher says it all the time
On the Temp-V IV bag, that's not a QR code, it's a Data Matrix code, and the code is for a bag of 0.9% sodium chloride injection, just as the printed on label says.
1:29 but... He didnt give his dad the V.
It was his mother...
But he bought it with the attention to do it
I’m glad they went with killer sheep and chickens. A killer rabbit was done to perfection by Python.
The absurdity of this episode was great from deep being threatened with his secret octopus lover being exposed to the flying vampire sheep, it had everything i didn't know i wanted in an episode 😂.
Butcher drops a DIABOLICAL every season and I'm always excited for it 😂
A-Train saying "Close to my heart" is such a good catch! 👍👍
i think we might see victoria newman or maybe even marie from gen v help get the parasite out of butcher, like eventually they’re gonna have to team up and stop homelander right? plus newman rescued stan edgar in the end and we know they still love eachother so im wondering if he will have any sway on victorias future decisions
The moment they showed the leg i was like "hey, the cut is way to clean to be caused by animals. He probably cut his own leg so he could run away"
simon pegg was incredible in that episode. literally all i've thought about for the last day.
that end scene with hughie crying was rough 😞😞 as someone who recently loss their grandpa its a horribly well acted scene
Right there with you
Fareal. Gave me flashbacks of our Dad leaving
Simon Peggs' performance is such a stand out
Ryan is just one bad day away from becoming Homelander…is it too late to save lil homie?
Lil Homie should be his supe name, lol.
Probably.
@@MatthewTheWanderer right, it's much better than Homeboy 😂
@@shalinalewis2957 Agreed!
yup, homelander's grasp is closing in on him
What if in the Homelander/Soldier Boy “team up” movie they get Jared Padalecki to play an actor playing Soldier Boy in the movie 😂😂😂
Thank you for educating people about who was on MMs wife's wall. Of course, no other youtuber bothered to mention that because, y'know...
How are you saying that hughie gave his dad the V when it was clear in the last episode and it was specified in this one that mom did it
It's possible Kessler isn't real. He hasn't interacted with anyone other than Butcher whom we know is hallucinating
I'm pretty sure that's the case.
I knew coleman was dying the second i said to myself he's getting a little too much screen time this episode "🤣.
Cates arm is back! whats up with that?
Oh- hey- yeah! Wtf?
Ngl
Prosthetic
No close up so probably a prosthetic.
Icl I think that the tentacles are now sentient for butcher cause he took compound V. Which would upgrade the temp V tentacles. Maybe they’ll have like a symbiotic relationship like venom.
Ahhh… good point
It's stated in the first two minutes of the video that Hughie gave his dad the V when it was his mom. Do the performers who deliver the reporting on this channel not even take the time to watch the episodes? It seems like you guys get fed information directly from the studios which is neat, but you should at least watch what you're reporting on.
Yeah sometimes you can tell they’re just reading from something someone else made for them.
Chicken soup ❌
Chicken Supe ✅
Ryan drinking the milkshake with that smile on his face… I think he’s much closer to the comic book 3rd soldier boy than we think.
And how about Simon Pegg’s Hugh killing the Hot Fuzz inspired security guard?
Tek-Knight's "12 Minutes of complete darkness" is clearly referencing the part in "The Batman" at Falcones. The one with the Muzzle-Flashes.
Moff Gideon and Dr Pershing
I swore Neuman was neutralizing Starlights powers 😭 I was like “Yooo this itch is strong asffff”
Thing is, at the end with the leg, I thought if I could see it, anyone could. That is a VERY clean cut on his leg. No animal without laser eyes would make a cut that clean...
I just finished the episode, so glad I waited!
"Whatever that juice was"; it was obviously Compound V.
It makes a lot of sense that kessler is a hallucination, its as if rebecca is butcher's voice of good and reason while kessler is a manifestation of the worst of butcher, since rebecca is in his head, kessler might be too. Perhaps kessler was a figure of butcher's past that his compound v imagination is using
I’ve been waiting for this 🙏🏻
I just wasn't ready for the end of this episode. 😢😢😢😢 had me crying like a baby for like 15min.
Whoever wrote Frenchie's line about transmitting the virus into the sheep needs a pay rise 😂
Hugh Sr dying hit me right in the feels after having both my parents pass in '23 from dementia and cardiac related issues.
Having him mention how tough it was for Hughie even to put Jar Jar down was like way to close to the chest because i put down my final cat of five that i had growing up earlier this year and i was so angry and upset i was powerless to do anything to stop it
Ugh same, my dad passed in February in the hospital and I actually had to just FF through the end of their scene
13:34 how do you NOT mention this scene referencing breaking bad, especially with giancarlo espocito (stan/gus fring) RIGHT THERE
I didn't even make that link damn that was good 😂
smart move having Jessica tell us the easter eggs 😅
Well the virus transition, is problematic. You can’t infect dead tissue, not only that the heart isn’t pumping blood sooooo the virus would only be localized to the injection site
I mean it's also impossible to be a superhero with powers so perhaps the virus for compound V works differently to our own viruses
I'm wondering if there's gonna be consequences for Hughie and his mom. They gave Hughie's dad compound V and he went on a little murder spree in the hospital. How would they not catch manslaughter charges?
Vought cover-up
My thought too. Vought/Homelander must be thinking who gave Hughie the V and this might be the end of A Train
13:47 Nothing popped up because that’s not a QR code.
I think Whiskey Sunrise was a parody of Tequila Sunrise.
Great vid
I love Giancarlo Esposito. His performance this episode was fantastic as always. I'm so glad he didn't get eaten by a dire sheep.
It’s funny how they had random people with them in the barns scenes. They included extra people just for them to be the ones to die 😂
Since those farm animals mutated because they consumed V-contaminated water, I wonder if the same thing can happen to humans…
i think the reason why Hugh randomly went for that guy's heart, and why the animals are aggressive is going to lead to zombies in season 5
The actor who plays Samir is the same as Dr Pershing in Mando isn’t he? Now we have Pershing and Gideon in the Boys😂
Idk how the wood door is stopping V'd up sheep that can carry a V'd up bull like nothing!?
Facts
Sameer also looks at butcher almost like he talking to noone. More proof, Jeffrey D Morgan's character is part of Butcher's hallucinations
14:08 I’m pretty sure the joke was that they’re playing the version by Joseph William Morgan instead of the original by Marvin Gaye, another race swap.
In regards to the news article about Stan Edgar’s homes, does anybody expect season 5 to make references to Puff Daddy bc it would definitely fit in the Boys universe
I agree less fighting between butcher and starlight
Blue Thunder - 1983 - Roy Schieder and Malcolm McDowell starring.
Been waiting !!!
Same
I thought "my butt is too big for that outfit" was the exactly reason for doing so.
Diabolical is butchers favorite word he said it in sesosn 1
And 2 and 3 lol
"Billy says F**king Diabolical and it probably means nothing"
Jesus, have you even watched series 1 to 3?!?! 😂😂😂
you can't help but wonder how sage feels about being the only member who doesn't get a movie
My dad is having heart surgery tomorrow...and I just watched the Hughie's dad dying scene. Messed me up!😭
When the secret service members walked into the barn the first time I thought “oh cool some redcoats”
Season final is on my bday 🎂 what a gift lol. I'll be so sad when this season ends though because I just want more content. I have been loving everyone's takes on theories though because this season is definetly becoming much more complicated.
I also think Hugh Sr. had a power similarly to hughie. He ran fast and that's why he could phase. He had a speedster's phasing, similar to the flash. But because he was brain dead, his body was reacting with instincts and only with a fight or flight response. That's why he either ran away or tried to kill what frightened him or made him angry.
Does anyone else think Joe Kessler is a Butcher hallucination? He's only ever talked to Butcher and when Butcher is talking to Samir, he looks over at Joe and Samir looks confused
Imagine mentioning the True Blue Miracle line and skipping the Sesame Street reference. Kids these days.
how come it seems like no one is mentioning the gen V actor Chance Perdomo who passed away in real life?
18:03 something similar happened in the Boys Diabolical
Small point it was Huey’s mom that gave his Dad the V. Js..
I just hope Kessler keeps his origin story and the nickname Monkey - I'd like to hear JDM read that story out loud 😂
Why didn’t Newman just explode the sheep ?
This
5:00 I feel "Vought Studio" logo looks like the "Marvel Studio" logo
Duh
Mcbain: Thats the joke...
The Whiskey Sunrise poster was a parody of the film Tequila Sunrise
Sage reminds me of Littlefinger having no dangerous physical powers but wielding information
JarJar, the pet had a horrible end because Hughie couldn’t let him go. That was what Hugh Sr was calling back to. 😢
"Iron Eyes Cody total fugazzi." If you know this reference we can be friends
I thought A-Train's "so it must be good right?" Was a jab at Rings of Power 🤣
Not hating but these haven't been the same...
Is no one gonna mention the parallel of Hughie Sr. walking though the hallway akin to Simon Pegg in Shaun of the Dead
I just love how fast you guys are. And hey, it's cosplay, not cosperfect, you could totally rock either Starlight outfit!
How did butcher cut off and kidnap Samere so fast while all that was going on where would he have the time to do that?
I’m glad Stan is back.
I think Hughie Sr.'s death is a phenomenal representation of how agonizing it is for the person passing when their family members/doctors fight to keep them alive well after they are ready to go. And Hughie Sr. even parallels this in his conversation with Hughie Jr. about their cat Jar Jar. Hughie Jr. mentioned in the last episode if it's "humane" to take his dad off the feeding tube and essentially let him "starve to death" while hes in a coma but is it more humane to keep someone around hospitalized and bedridden (or brain dead in this particular scenario) when you know that's not what they would've wanted but you are (selfishly) just not ready to let them go? The confusion, fear, pain, anger, etc. that Hughie Sr. experiences are all so amazingly executed and perfectly encompasses (at least, in my humble opinion) the emotions of someone passing away. Made me upset with Hughie Jr. for doing that to his dad. Simon Pegg, that was a truly stunning and heart-wrenching performance. ❤
