    Stewed Beef Liver Recipe
    Ingredients
    2 lbs. Beef Liver
    2 tsps. All-Purpose Seasoning
    2 tsps. Salt
    1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
    1 tsp. Onion Powder
    1 tsp. Garlic Powder
    1 - 1 1/2 tbsp. Wet Jerk Seasoning
    1-2 tsps. Browning
    2 tsps. Sweet & Spicy Sauce *optional
    3 tbsps. Tomato Ketchup
    1 tsp. Sugar
    1 sm. Carrot
    1 sm. Tomato
    1sm. Sweet Pepper (Bell Pepper)
    2 cups Water
    2 tbsps. Oil
    Seasoning Blend:
    1 stalk Scallion
    4 sprigs Fresh Thyme
    3-4 cloves Garlic
    1/4 lg. Onion
    1/2 inch Ginger
    1 sm. Scotch Bonnet Pepper *optional
    1/2 tsp. Pimento

    I made some liver stew today. I didn't add any jerk seasoning nor sugar, the next time I cook it I'm going to add a bit of jerk, sugar and browning.

      @@juenfokitchen I can only find Grace seasoning where I live now, Walker is definitely more widely preferred by the Caribbean people that I've been around. I'm originally from Los Angeles, so I always had access to a variety of Caribbean food and seasonings back home.

    No disrespect why are we sugar in our foods. ? Does that mean we can’t get our food to taste good without sugar ? I grew up my grandmother cooking the best food with our sugar. !! What about diabetic? If you drop the liver in boiling water for a few minutes the process of stripping the liver becomes so easy. All that bloody mess is gone. !

      Hi. The small amount of added sugar is to balance out the flavors, which is very miniscule per serving. There are alternatives such as honey or Stevia, for example. Yes, that's also one way of stripping it, if it will be cooked right away.
