We got shoot this at RMAC in the big bore challenge did very well even at 362 yds

Did you have a heavier hammer in yours or is it stock? I tried 68 grains in mine and could only get it up to 930.

Double bottle with 450 on back and 580 up front. Great setup! Only way for a bipod is a bottle clamp. Lots of air! Shot one setup that way at local shop.

Can't wait to see more of this thing. Might actually finally get an FX. Heard the mag and breach were larger for longer projectiles. Wouldn't mind one of 22 if i can put some ridiculous slugs in it 35-40gr
Perfect for a .22 plenty of power
The new mag will carry the 40 grain .22 slugs no problem.
Thats next on my list. I just got the M3 700mm .25 a few months ago, but I will be getting that in the near future.
I can’t wait to see that thermal content. I have a Bering super yoter on my Maverick and I will give you an idea. You’ve never had more fun frog gigging. We used to use LED lights and .22lr. Now it’s a .25 cal and thermal. Really fun. Not to mention all the Coyote and other critter hunting!
We believe it is a Coywolf running around causing problems here looks to be 90 to 100 pounds

Its wierd how inconsistent FX is about their scope mount height model to model. For the Impact, the pic rail is very high & the scope is typically mounted much higher than the barrel. Then they said with the Panthera, for extreme accuracy, the scope has to be mounted as close to the barrel as possible. Now with this model, the cheek weld is in a high fixed location, but the pic rail is as low as possible. 🤔 For me, it would be very hard to rewire my brain for projectile trajectory when the scope height is always different depending on which FX model I take out.
I wonder why FX doesn't come out with like a 45 caliber 50 caliber big bore rifle you know they make really good rifles if they made them they would sell like hotcakes

If the .35 cal is as accurate, there isn't much that a head shot won't put down with that gun!

Please check it out, I was in the FX airguns web page and the 68 gr pellet was for the .35 caliber.
68 gr hybrid slugs are for the .357 but it shoots a 81 gr pellet.

I would like you to compare the piledriver to the texan to the hammer. I’d like to know what works best and what has the best expandable platform. In other words who makes parts for them
Do you recommend more the 700 .30cal or the 600 .35cal? Is the 700mm barrel friendly to handle, also if you shoot without a tri-pod, etc...?

Hey Rick, I just picked this gun up in 30. Do you have any initial suggestions for tuning? Most of what I'm seeing out there for this or the Panthera are tunes for 22 or 25.
Mine is tuned at 168 on the reg shooting 68 gr javelins at 1000 fps .301 but I would suggest 150 on the reg and go from there. 168 is pretty violent on the gun.

Seem to hit 200yd very quickly for a slow speed
950 to 980 fps is a good speed

Stock hammer
It's got to be an aftermarket hammer. Mine only does up to 130-135 bar. I had to order a hammer for mine because I saw this video and thought I was going to be pushing those numbers stock. Sadly not. If you try to go 150-160 bar with stock hammer, it's getting valve locked. I was pretty pissed about that, but I have the gun, and I'm not sending it back.
@dougiefresh3767 mine was set at 130 and took it to 150 no problem is yours a .357 ?
@shooter1721 No, it's the .30. I went up on the reg, and the velocity dropped from 930fps to 905fps.
@shooter1721 I would say take it apart and check, but it's a pain to tear down. Anyway, I've already bought a Huma reg for it along with the slug power kit and transfer port they sell for it now. I'm just waiting on it to arrive. I've had the gun for almost 2 weeks now, and the 1st week was a straight headache. Lol!
So basically a $3,000 22lr……
True, but with amazing adjustability, quietness, cheap ammo, and its legal to shoot in most residential backyards.
That cost about .009 USD a round to shoot

The hunting market is very hard to get into.Lot's of powerhouse monsters to compete with.
