The mars Volta box is missing the Frances the mute single that also has the widow live on the B side and it’s missing scab dates but scab dates was a live album so it doesn’t really matter too too much unless they did a mtv unplugged or something like that

I was literally thinking about your old vinyl videos just recently. Last week I got to go to a record shop for the first time since 2019 and it made me remember just how many recommendations I got from your record collection videos, so I'm very happy for this to be back
I kind of love this. This is honestly super comforting. It's like watching some sort of podcast. It's a good way to find new music/pressings of albums, or to just be reminded of music. You already know I'm going back through the Mars Volta discog after this. I'd love for these to be a semi-regular thing; not too regular, though, so there's a good amount of records to go through in each one. These longer videos are really nice, and I really enjoyed this. 6/10

Awww yes. The Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band record is absolutely amazing. I was jamming "Touch Me" all the time when I was like 15. Say what you will about Yoko, she can make some mindblowing experimental rock when she wants to.
I saw the mars volta on the thumbnail and had to peep the vid. I was an unfortunate fan who had to shell out $500 for the collection but it had to be done. Having the entire discography in one go fresh and untouched was too good an opportunity. So glad to hear your positive blessings on Mars Volta. Rock on Fantano.
The Mars Volta box sits at a 45 degree angle in the black base, the corner slides into a nook in the bottom cardboard bit. Looks really cool when put on display, especially with the art on the back.
I say this with nothing but love and respect for the guy, but Fantano seems so dead inside for the beginning of the video. Someone give him a hug or splash some cold water on his face in a caring manner

I could study, but I chose to watch a 35 year old guy open records for 45 minutes.
So happy this series came back. I love hearing the Melon talk about records and just find the format relaxing.
